I had Linares ahead at the time of the stoppage.

I wasn't completely focused on judging it, more just enjoying the sweet science on display. That being said, I felt like it was a nip and tuck affair maybe a round or two difference. Linares had the KD and he was landing some really hard, crisp shots. The problem was that while I thought it was close, Loma was winning the war of attrition. Linares busts up fairly easily and his punch tolerance leaves a little to be desired. He's an incredibly smooth boxer with good pop and alot of heart though. Arum needs to stop getting outraged Everytime a judge views a fight differently. Save the indignation for actual BS cards.

Lomachenko won that fight but he was outlanded by Linares I had Linares up but then he stood in the pocket too long and caught that sting shot to the ribs!! Loma did good to bounce back the way he did to get the win and Linares exceeded my expectations with his performance (didn't think he would make it pass 6). I still believe he could have gotten up but the moment he went down his body language was that he didn't want to get up. But it was a awesome fight anyways both guys did very well. Can't believe Linares head trainer would abandon him for washed up David Haye. The lomachenko-Linares fight is bigger in my opinion!

Loma won by TKO. The rest is history.

I had Linares winning before the stoppage. But at the end of the day he did get stopped fair and square so I don't know what Arum is complaining about. Everyone is now starts to cry robbery when their fighter isn't winning.

We're all aware of those golden boy scorecards and how they work.

I had Linares up by one round and a knock down. It would have been tied if he got up in that last round.

I knew Linares would be much tougher than people were saying

and I thought it would be a very good fight

imho, the prediction that I made 2 years ago, that Lomachenko would be P4P #1..... just came to fruition

props to my boy Linares, gratz to Loma

                    Luckily you're not a judge .

Most of Linares punches were blocked or deflected or swinging at air .

Linares was getting picked apart and was looking like a amateur most rounds .

No one who seriously PAYED ATTENTION could possibly have it close let alone have Loma behind when the champion was not the aggressor and the challenger OUT POINTING and stunning Linares on multiple occasions !

Only 2 rnds were very hard to score where it COULD go to Linares ,obviously the knock down in 8 .

A good thing Loma did stop him bc it would have been no different then Loma getting held at gun point and his belongings taking from him !

It's no longer a surprise, it's to be expected.
