Lomachenko won 4 of the first 5 rounds clearly. Round 1 could have been edged to him as well but it was probably a 10-10 round. Round 6 he was dominating and then the KD happened but it could still be a 9-9 round. Round 7 he lost, Round 8 he lost and Round 9 won and then down goes Linares.

As good as Loma is he's unlikely to stop every opponent for the rest of his career. Arum needs to speak up if he thinks his fighter is short changed. Personally I think Linares was getting the rounds where Loma didn't drill him with anything eye catching. Judges are used to Loma's domination so much that they are giving away rounds Loma is not taking in style - even though the other guy is not really winning them.

Kind of sucks when asshats like Arum have to start crying every judge's scorecard is a robbery. This makes the boxing community more desensitized to legit robberies. The fight was close either way and was coming down to the Championship rounds.

Linares was doing quite well but you must have been watching with an agenda (Linares fan or Loma hate) if you had him up on the cards. It wasn't THAT tricky to score really.

I remember watching the fight and wishing for Loma to do something drastic, because I was thinking he could easily lose on the cards. I think both the judges and some of the fans were making the mistake of giving Linares the rounds Loma wasn't clearly dominating in.

When was the last time a round was scored even? Anyone?

Because Oscar will sell his soul to the devil if it means he could influence a W for his fighters. Linares had success in spurts, it was closer to even but sure AF was never up. That’s how you kill corruption in its tracks, with a stoppage!!

Lot of posters proving they don’t know how to score fights or even comprehend what they’re watching if you had linares winning 5 or more rounds please kys.

There’s been countless fights where a fighter is losing the round and scores a knockdown yet the round is still won by the dropped fighter 9-9.
