Mikey is fighting Easter Jr., who is 5'11 (Linares is only 5'8")! Easter Jr. is the biggest Lightweight in the game! Mikey fought Broner @ 140, much bigger than Linares! Mikey beat Lipinets for a title @ 140, and is coming back to 135 for another title fight! That's Mayweather **** right there! I don't understand your hate?

Easter Jr. is not known to use his height very much. What you are showing as an advantage is actually a disadvantage for him. His height just makes it so he is very skinny as hell come fight night which affects his durability in the end.

I had the fight even going into the championship rounds, Linares is a helluva fighter & Loma landed a peach of a body shot to close the show.

I think Loma gets knocked out by Mikey at 135.

It landed right on the button. I thought there was no such thing as a lucky punch.

But if you read the rest of my post beyond the first sentence, I acknowledged that it was Loma's mistake for that knockdown happening.

Mikey will put him down for good,
PS Linares was out boxing Loma, look at the scorecards when it was stopped.......
Mikey would stop him, Mikey is a better boxer, Mikey beat Salido....
Loma cant go to 140(Haney), like GGG wouldnt go to 168 (ward)

Before it ended, Linares looked like he was starting to put hands on Loma and like Loma was anguishing at times. It was actually a really abrupt stoppage for me. Came from nowhere. Maybe it’s me but it seemed Linares was hurting him as the fight progressed. Good fight.

Just need someone to expose him and last 12 rounds I guess.

Charcoal brothers? Classy. I’m angry at myself that I laughed so much. Firstly they fight 2 and 3 divisions higher than he last fought at.

Secondly, Mikey still is a champion at 135 and will be unifying in his next fight against Easter jnr. Don’t be a d*ck, you know the next logical fight is a unification with Lomachenko, what are you so afraid of?

Finally I’m far from a hater I’m a fan of his why wouldn’t I be? He put on a show last night and you can’t deny what he has achieved in such a short space of time in my eyes he’s now undeniably the p4p number 1 fighter.

Are you going to stop being a baby now?

It was a legit shot from Linares that did what the average knock down will do- turn the tide of a fight. Had it gone to the cards, everyone would have been on pins and needles waiting to see what the decision would be, and I am not sure that would have been true before the knockdown.

Linares won some fans in that fight even as he lost. Lomachenko has seen what moving up in weight can mean. It was a great body shot from a great fighter to end it, but the was a great freaking scrap.
