It would make sense to next go for fellow beltholder Beltran. Old mans ripe for the pickings. Loma could beat Easter too. That guy looked less than impressive against Fortuna.

Light welterweight, Loma would lose there. That weights too big. He would do fine against the B class of that weight, but he'd get dropped by any top talent.
I agree, Loma should stay at this weight at least for a while. If he wants to move up, he should at least get experience staying at LW for a couple years and trying to become undisputed LW (If he's ready or not for Mikey is yet to be seen, it could have been a moment of arrogance where he was caught off balance, he jumped right off the canvas. But he also can't afford to make those kinds of mistakes.)

Yeah, mikey solid and all but cant keep up with loma. Plus his power is comparable to linares. But doesnt have speed, quickness, and combos like linares has. Loved the fight last night though! Probably have unification fight next against beltran. Mikeys folks done said they dont want loma fight for yrs to come

The biggest cause for concern I saw tonight is how easily he can be hit. Everybody, even history’s greatest defensive fighters can be hit with single shots. And as offensive minded as Lomachencko is, he’s gonna get hit some. That’s just part of letting your hands go. The biggest thing I saw was him getting his with combinations. And he was also getting hit when they were on the outside. Everything wasn’t a product of him being countered. Some of it was just him having his defense penetrated.
He figured Linares out, and made adjustments! That's what champions do! He started being first, and he stalked the bigger fighter! The setup for the liver shot was a thing of beauty! He did get hit, and I think Mikey hits harder than Linares, so that's a fight I'm very interested in!

Nothing about his skill set is impressive. No power, No ring generalship, No game plans. The only thing decent about him is he's alittle fast. He makes too many mistakes to beat Mikey.

I would give Linares a reserved 12! After all, he made Loma look human last night! I have a feeling the WBA will do something ******, like order an immediate rematch, like they did with Hurd and Lara!

Linares looked like a Welterweight in there. He literally landed one lucky punch the entire fight. Linares face was all messed up too.
