It's hilarious that the fans that defended Wilder turning down twice the amount he's ever made to fight Whyte in the UK are ****ting on AJ.

The $4m to fight Whyte was a low-ball offer (Wilder-Whyte would've likely soldout the O2, done a respectable number on Sky Box Office, and come with a good bit of money from Showtime). And the $12.5m to fight Joshua was apparently also a low-ball offer, too.

Anthony Joshua asked for $50m to fight anywhere, Wilder's camp not only found the $50m, they've offered $50m against 50% of the take (whichever is higher), yet now the money doesn't matter? Now that's hilarious.

Turning down $4 mil and $12.5 mil to make $2 mil makes no business sense. Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay. You ******s should remember that before crying lowball. Wilder isn't worth that kind of money to anyone else.

Deontay Wilder has the eraser; no matter how the start of a fight goes, if he catches you clean with that right hand, you're ****ed.

Beyond that, there's no prime Larry Holmes for him to deal with. Break things up however you want, the best three heavyweight fighters are Wilder, Joshua, and Fury, Povetkin/Pulev/Ortiz are just below that, and then there's a clear gap to everyone else.

If he's not fighting Joshua or Fury, I don't see a heavyweight fighter beating Wilder as long as his body holds up.

With Joshua not wanting to fight, you keep pushing Bomb Squad; Wilder keeps engaging with the press, Wilder keeps flattening whomever in stellar fashion, the American audience sees this UK champion ducking the American, Wilder engages the public, keeps winning, and things snowball into themselves as the title defense count gets over 10 and Joshua keeps ducking the fight.

You forget how nuclear Mike Tyson got when he finally crossed over from the boxing audience and how fast it took for Tyson to sit on ungodly sites of funds.

Lewis started and based his career in the UK though, with a UK promoter. He built up his name fighting in Britain, and only went to America when he was fighting at title level.
He wasn't a 'glorified North American' either. He was born in Britain, went to Canada when he was 12, then went back to Britain when he turned pro. All his pro fights were fighting under British nationality. It sounds like you're trying to claim he's American. Canada can make a stake a claim in his greatness, he lived there for over 10 years and fought as an amateur for them, but not America.

He came across Boxing in CANADA.He learnt his boxing through North American Trainers- Why do you think he was good ? Because he didnt have any British Trainers like Bruno did ? Lewis made a smart descion to pack his coaching team full of Americans like Emanuel Steward as they helped made him into a great.It's been said before-the only reason they switched to he is "British" was because Canada didnt have the Boxing Infastructure and therefore he had no choice but to move back to Britain after the Olympics- and he had to get fans on board.What better way-than to stay i am British as i was born here eventhough i havent been/lived here for 12 years

Bro as i said before joshua is the A-side and he has the right to choose where the fight takes place and all they have to do is agree a rematcn on wilders home soil and i see no issue with that.
so wilder in my opinion should face joshua in the uk 1st and only fair a rematch is then on stateside...they both make huge money in the process as well.
