showtime has said they are apart of this deal, wilder is promoted by al haytmon, who had an endowment of close to half a billion dollars. vegas will put up a site fee, too.
they have the money, the relationships are already in place between the network, venue, and the promoter.
Huge business deals are made every day. I don't think the parties involved ever just say "well I'm dealing with Jeff Bezos here, he's good for the money, I'll just sign the contract without any proof that he's actually willing to put the money aside"
People like that don't last in business, because they don't belong in business. You don't sign **** until you know you can get your hands on the money.
It's also very unlikely that you'd enter into a contract without knowing what you're entering intoComment

You can't dictate terms if you aren't putting up the lions share of the money, point blank period. You want it in the UK. Pay up!Comment

Again, no offence, but this is the argument I see a lot but I just don't go along with it.

they agree to terms, and then they hash out contracts line by line!
they weren't expected to sign a blank contract. that's the firs tthing you put in the contract; that you need to see when and how payments will be made. so come back and put it in there and see what they ahve to say!
just trust me wen i say this stuff is nothing new to me, i ahve two separate attorneys reviewing two contracts for my businesses as we speak, in two different countries and two completely different industries. one of my attorneys is chair at the one of the very best law firms in boston. i also have a background in boxing. this is not new to me.Comment

Is there any evidence that it didn't exist? Did Hearn present any evidence to Finkel that money was available when he presented his offer? NO! Why? It's because promoters have never "presented evidence," they present offers, and Finkel has been doing this way longer than Hearn! Hearn is trying to look for a reason to say NO! Now the latest is Joshua doesn't want to fight in the U.S.! PATHETIC!
Finkel didn't ask to see any money, he rejected the deal out of hand. Had he asked, Hearn has stated that the money would have been in his bank account that same night.Comment

Wilder has said before that he has no problem with traveling. Shouldn't be a problem. 50 mil plus home court....if that isn't enough for AJ's side then they should just openly admit that they aren't ready for it yet and move on.Comment
