How does that prove that there's $50m in escrow.

No offence to you personally, but people believe what they want to believe without actually engaging their brains sometimes.

go back to the f#cking sandbox [football fannery.]

this is a real sport where people need to get paid fairly because they put their lives on the line. eddie hearn is lowballing to keep this fight from happening. and he's not willing to take the fight to the us, where he knwos it makes the most money.

it is exactly what we thought it was. the US stays winning. eddie hearn is ducking deontay f#cking wilder

this stuff i'm hearing from you guys is getting ridiculous and needs to stop.

eddie hearn does not want this fight right now. he's doing whatever he can to keep it from happening.

i'd have no real issues with the fight being in the UK, they can get a rematch in vegas. but the offer wilder got for a fight in the UK was not a real offer! a flat offer does not make the biggest fight in boxing happen! it's way out of line, would be ess of a percentage than parker took, and hardly more than parker took overall!

holy ****, you guys gotta f#cking wake up!

        F#CK!
I agree they're delaying it, I just want it to be in the UK when it does happen. I think they want one interim fight and then the negotiations with Wilder will get serious

showtime has said they are apart of this deal, wilder is promoted by al haytmon, who had an endowment of close to half a billion dollars. vegas will put up a site fee, too.

they have the money, the relationships are already in place between the network, venue, and the promoter.

That's cool, but you'll appreciate that I'm not going to change my mind until I actually see some evidence. And if you're not going to find it then I'm not going to search and nor am I gonna take your word that it exists.

If I come across it or anything like it though then I'll change tack in a heartbeat.

dude it was a flat fee and a low ball. i understand that you don't understand, or wouldn't care because deontay is american and your guy is british, but adults are talking.

Problem is that Parker got a 30 to 35% split (interestingly enough, after Hearn swore he would not pay him that much). From a business perspective, you can't expect someone who has far more commercial value to take less. Some of these Hearn goons have tried to argue that with me but there is no conceivable way that a Wilder fight is worth the same as a Parker fight. Even Hearn has said this. So, 35 is honestly the minimum starting point. I wouldn't offer Wilder more than 40 though, and Wilder certainly doesn't expect more than 40, based on the more candid things I've seen him say.

Is there evidence that the money was available etc?
Is there any evidence that it didn't exist? Did Hearn present any evidence to Finkel that money was available when he presented his offer? NO! Why? It's because promoters have never "presented evidence," they present offers, and Finkel has been doing this way longer than Hearn! Hearn is trying to look for a reason to say NO! Now the latest is Joshua doesn't want to fight in the U.S.! PATHETIC!

I actually think the fight should be in the UK. But, they gotta pay the man real money. As-in, a percentage. Not this 12m flat offer to impress the casuals. Offer him 35% and take 40 if you got to.

I think Barry leaked the plan though. AJ is not going to be allowed to fight Wilder until 2019. Eddie got milking to do first.
Looks like they can’t pay him much more than $12.5m if the fight is in the UK, not without cutting into Joshua’s slice.

I watched this interview on video and I thought Hearn’s comments were real telling. Sounds like the offer they got was good, but Joshua is the hold up. He wants the fight in the UK, but it doesn’t make any sense.
