Folks seem to forget that the most money made on a Joshua fight was against Klitschko, and that fight apparently capped out with the two fighters together making $45m (plus whatever personal sponsors).

A ton of money, but let's keep context here
If that's the case, then you'll have no problem in telling me how much each of these fights made?

Unless of course, Joshua starches Wilder, who then drops off the face of the earth.
If that were actually true, Eddie Hearn wouldn't have had to pay Martin so much money that he basically went nuts, lol.

      Nice try though.

Floyd loves Las Vegas with all his heart, but that didn't stop him from sitting down with Barclays Center to see if a deal could be made, and it wouldn't have stopped Floyd from fighting in NYC if Las Vegas couldn't at least match the offer.
It’s about advantage too ... home crowd , home venue . Obviously money comes into it but a big crowd behind you would help

Floyd was given a free roll to do what he wanted in Vegas . I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he was on a lance Armstrong trip . His skills were far beyond everyone but his energy levels were something else to the last bell

Come on, man! You know Hearn was willing to pay Martin that money to get Joshua a belt and thus put him on the map. And now that he is the biggest draw in the UK, I'd say, mission accomplished.

If Anthony Joshua is content to simply keep fighting in the UK and being a European attraction, that's his right. He'll have a run like Klitschko's, where the American audience simply doesn't care anymore.

Deontay Wilder isn't making Anthony Joshua money, but he's building. He's getting close to selling out Barclays Center on his own, the interest on Showtime is getting to the point where CBS is brought in as a premium, and he's basically another 2 good performances away from PPV being needed to finance Wilder's fight (and having an American heavyweight champion into his 10th defense of his title may just be the hook to bring casual fans along, especially with it being clear that the other champion wants none of it).

Wilder's market is still the one that delivered Floyd and Oscar $75m to fight; keep slighting Wilder if you want.
he better start buliding alot quicker than he is at the moment.....2.1 million his highest purse , never headlined a ppv event and has never sold out a 12k arena and defended his title 6 times now so get the f@ck out of here with yiur wilder is buliding waffle.
Joshua sold 250k fight tickets in his last 3 fights , makes £15 million a fight , has 4 belts , sells over 1.5 buys on sky box office and has boxed better opposition in half the fights wilder has had.
Wilder is 32 so he better start building before he runs out of time.
i know which attrCtion i would rather be yeah you got it the uk attraction.
Wilder is not floyd or de la hoya so wise up son

Other than these problems, negotiations have gone as they should.
Really? You think selective and allegedly inaccurate leaking of confidential proposals by one party is correct?

Let's agree to disagree on that one.

Finkel didn't ask to see any money, he rejected the deal out of hand. Had he asked, Hearn has stated that the money would have been in his bank account that same night.
I'll leave at this: Finkel is doing business the same way promoters have been making fights going all the way back to Tyson vs. Spinks! You're boy, Eddie Hearn, is on some "new" ****!
