Joshua holds most of the belts, and is huge in the UK. Why would he come to the challenger's back yard? If Wilder wants AJ's belts, he needs to go to the UK and try to take them.

It's pretty simple. If someone offers you 6x you've ever made you take it, you don't turn it down to carry on making 6x less.

I know you like to think yourself as an adult but with a reach as big as a toddlers i wouldn't class you as one.

You do turn down 12.5 million if you can get 40-50 million for the same fight.

I don't understand what's so hard here? It's clear now, that the $50 Million dollar offer was real, but AJ can only get $50 million if he fights in the U.S. It's also clear that Wilder is not going to accept a $12.5 Million dollar flat-fee to fight in the UK, but he doesn't have a problem fighting in the UK! So simply give Wilder a 40% split, and make this fight happen NOW!

Pretty straightforward, tbh. Get Wilder an equivalent to what he would've got on the fight in the US (the fighters splitting $100m was likely a reach, but the $75m that Floyd and Oscar split would've been reasonable), and Joshua ends up with well less than $50m, in exchange for delivering the fight for his home crowd.

Wilder cant make significantly over 2 Million without Joshua . He averages 1.4 a fight .

He didnt pass up 12.5 Million , he passed up over 30 Million if he THINKS he can win.

Joshua can generate 40 Million in TWO fights so realistically its not about Joshua running away from more money its Wilder .


Joshua never changed his stance on the fight not taking place in the U.K . Hes maintained that from day one , he never said he would go to the states that was Hearn but hes not the boss ... Joshua is period .


What you guys fail to realise is Wilder himself is taking a pay cut bc paying Joshua 50 Million probably gets Wilder 10 Million tops bc this isnt the mega fight of 100 Million ppl are exaggerating it to be .....it doesnt do more than 60 Million if lucky .


The differance is Joshua IS the draw ,he has a right to take a paycut bc he actually makes BIG money and hes the A side . Wilder hss no business trying to dictate things when hes not even earned 3 Million in a fight in several title defences .

This shows they BOTH want home field advantage .


The way to fix this is set up a rematch claus win or lose for Wilder in Vegas .

Wilder turned down 6x his highest purse. $50 mil isn't even double Joshua's.

$50m is still $50,000,000 and that's not a made up number.

Wilder felt that the initial offer to travel to the UK was short, so he and his camp made an effort to get everyone more money.

For people talking about A-side this or A-side that, that argument falls flat, if the A-side isnt bringing more money to the table. Hearn set out his budget for this fight, it was crap. He was one upped by Haymon and his team. They are putting more money down, therefore they dictate terms such as venue. Thats how its always been.Why do you dudes have to pull mental gymnastics to try to change the process when **** doesn't go the way you want it? How you an A-side and yet the B-side is bringing more money to the table for your fighter? That makes Hearn AND his promotion look bad. Period.
