Wilder's camp is already on record as having the funds to guarantee Joshua his $50m, cover whatever Wilder's guarantee is, and stage the fight with proper promotion and a proper show.

Fans can feel how they want, but how much of that DAZN money is going to be used to offset what SHOPPV can deliver to the fighter's camps? lol

With Matchroom Sport/Sky Sports giving away the global rights to the UK shows for free? Not a chance in hell, lol.

I’m sure Joshua is likely to be on in the future agajnst any other fights though.
Ward-Bellew and Khan-Brook are the only fights that draw significant US attention in the current stable, outside of Joshua's fights.

With Wilder's camp being confirmed as laying out the funds to cover the guarantees, and counting out the UK money and a sizable take on the live event, a conservative expectation for the US TV would seem to be around $20m.

A lot to still find out

          • What fighters are free agents for Hearn to take on board and what will it take for you to pay 20 dollars monthly?

WWE is apparently being put out, front and center, at the next NBCUniversal season presentation, putting the likelihood of a new NBCUniversal/WWE deal at almost certain.

With ESPN getting 15 shows for ESPN+, and the UFC's PPV schedule still being unclear, FOX/FS1 is likely getting far less content from the UFC.

Things still need to get finalized and stuff can come up, but Haymon's play seems on it's way to paying off in a big way.

With Showtime/CBS backing boxing the way they've been, and things set up pretty easily for Fox Sports to give PBC their own $100m-$150m per year to deliver live content for FOX/FS1 (4 FOX dates, 25 FS1 dates, PBC shoulder programming as filler), American boxing should be just fine.

Who gives a damn about some fighter promotion thats some ego driven bs more than a money making thing 90% of the time. Spence needs a promoter. Hearn. Zuffa. Arum. Oscar. DiBella. F#cking someone needs to have this dudes back & to be saying his name 24/7/365. Showtime doesn't promote fights.

Move? You mean it makes no sense for him to move FORWARD? Cuz just like all the rest of these guys they are getting paper but they are standing in the same f#cking spot for 2 years with no one hyping them. Meanwhile Joshua's name is getting said a 60 times a minute just be Hearn.

Dude the Charlo's should be headlining cards. Instead they got Tank Davis sh^ttalking them while Broner's who gives a f#ck about boxing gets the headlining spot. If the Charlo's had a legit promoter that promoter would be making these guys the faces of violence in boxing. Dudes are knocking mfers out their shoes n sh^t. And getting 2nd or 3rd billing all day lmfao. Wtf. These cats are 154/160lb Mike Tyson's.

I think Broner makes the least sense, but he sells tickets so fair play.

I think you still got too much faith in Haymon having some plan. I think its more likely that 12 months from now Haymon still doesn't have a TV deal & he's just doing these Showtime cards as is with lil aim or focus usually & with lil drive towards big fights. I dig Haymon's love for boxers & I was a big supporter of his early on & til the last idk 9-12mos maybe, but if Haymon was gonna create some answers to the questions out there I suspect he would have done so already. I think PBC is most likely a dying entity or an entity that'll just be some odd-ish management group more than anything else we are used to seeing in the boxing world & like most people thought PBC was gonna become.
Errol Spence Jr is telegenic, can fight his ass off, is starting to hit the money, and is doing all of this without being obligated to anyone but himself, his father, Derrick James, and Al Haymon. He's been able to draw well in New York, and he's heading home to a 12k seat venue near Dallas, for a show that he's promoting. Spence draws well for an exciting fight at home, continues to catch the eye of the Jones family, and he keeps building.

Not going to talk through every example, but there's a lot of faith being put on the benefits of a streaming platform that almost zero folks are currently on in the US.

                  Open to be proven wrong.

                  • ESPN has a better known brands, has a better price point and has beat them to market with a better range of sporting options for the US market with Disney backing them

DAZN is basically competing with ESPN+, unless they get NFL Sunday Ticket I don't see how they compete. It might be a good idea but seems like a platform being built to get taken out by someone coming in late that actually holds rights that need to get distributed better digitally (honestly Perform Group that is like the laziest name ever, no one picks a name like that expecting it to last long term).

Could be really good for Hearn depending on how the deal is done up though, or it could be a lot of hot air that is not worth the digital print it has gotten.
