        I think you mean a bit slow compared to himself. That was fast compared to most others.

        You may have noticed that although he did not unleash as many punches as he normally used to, he nonetheless was creeping in as he moved his head side to side.

        I remember now somebody beside me commenting that it seemed that the two just picked up where they had left off in their first meeting.

              Yes I was comparing that to his other starts. Anyway, maybe a little bit more cautious should have been the right phrase.
