Regardles of how Manny fought in the past, i think this is the right gameplan for Roach to give Pacman... it would be more of a risk to allow Larios time throughout the fight.. i predict a late KO by Manny only because i like Oscar just as much as Manny and wish them both the best in this one...

Larios is a likeable fella. I can't recall hearing or reading about him talking trash. In one recent interview on Philippine TV, he said he's better known in Japan and the Philippines than in his home country. And the Japanese always made him feel at home although he had beaten a number of their compatriots in Japan, i.e., Nakazatu (2x), Ishii and ***ushima. He added that he was pleasantly surprised that media in the Philippines were very knowledgeable about his career and majority appeared to have known him well. He cited that conversations with members of the Philippine media indicated that many saw him fight Vasquez, McCullough and Hussein.
He claimed that the reason why few recognize him in Mexico is that, unlike Japan and the Philippines, boxing is seldom on free tv in Mexico (especially in his home, Guadalajara); the lower income groups-- the fan base of the sport just about anywhere-- are thus deprived of following the careers of fighters.
Returning from his Manila visit last month (?) where he was met by a huge media contingent and boxing fans at the airport and tailed wherever he went, all he got upon arrival back in Mexico were three newsmen.Comment
