i don't keep in touch with any of them.

But i now Robert is now training boxers. I see him on t.v a lot in the corner of boxers. Edwardo is assitant to Roberto cause at times I've seen them both in the corner of the same fighter.

Roberto has a younger brother in the amatures, he won many tournaments, I think he's 17-18 years old, i've never seen him fight but supposedly hes good fighter. I think once he turns pro we will be seeing him on t.v.

fogot to add, after corrales he fougth 2 more fights then he was going to stay retired then they offered him a title shot with joel casamayor, and he was doing really good making the fight very close but then robert ran out of gas and casamayor just took over and got a tko. and he also trained mia st. john for awhile too. he's now the new trainer for rolando reyes and jose aguniga, both guys fight on tv regularly.

Acuttually now that i remember reading on ********* they said reyes had a fight last tuesday that was going to be broadcasted on wnf, but they never showed his fight and i don't recall seeing the result of his fight. but i'll have to check and see if theirs any news of his fight.

thats cool. Last fight I saw was him and Ben Tackie. I have not seen the casamayor fight. I have not seen Reyes fight although I have seen clips of the Castillo fight. Still young.

yeah, hes defenetly still young enough where he can win some fight and good enough to get another title shot, but i don't think he wants to fight anymore.

i forget what was the cubans name but robert fought this other cuban fighter when he was defending his title and it was a war, he got knocked down twice and then ko'd him later in the rounds, robert was the under-dog but he came on strong and keep getting up and showed tons of heart and won.

Vargas came up short in every big money fight he was given. He was brought along too fast, and ruined quickly and hes constantly injured. He could have been great. Also, his fight with De La Hoya really took alot away from him, he talked so much **** and couldnt back it up. I never liked him after that fight. His win against Winky Wright is a bunch of bull****, i garuntee if he would have lost that fight, he may have actually become a better fighter and really re-examine himself and his style.

Wrong, you mean after TITO destroyed him, he never looked the same. All experts say that Tito destroyed Vargas' career, just like he did to Campas, Carr, Thaim, Joppy, and recently Steward stated that Mayorga suffered to much damage in the TITO fight(which was evident in his fights after tito, and before DLH).

Tito is known to destroy careers, Vargas unfortunately was just another victim.

correction, after Tito knocked him out and gave him a beating he was never the same.

his fight with tito was very exciting, its one of my favorite fights.

vargas is pretty exciting, but hes not really the kind of fighter who will give you the fight of the year every time he fights. his fights with castillejo and joval were snoozers.
