I mean all i ever hear was vargas is so exciting to watch hes the mexican micky Ward...are they serious?? i mean i have watched about 12 of his fights and i dont think hes exciting at all.Most of the time i watch him hes taking sever punishment just to land one hard shot..hes very average and i wouldnt be surprised if mosley stopped him again.Then after that fight maybe we wont have to see vargas again cause i really dont like him.

Yeah maybe...but even before that even in the ike quartey fight he only looked good cause quartey made him look good.theres no hop in vargas step and hes probably the most flat footed fighter i have ever seen..i mean hes not that good and Mosley will win with ease.

WHat ??? Vargas backed Quartey most of that fight. He pressed the action and Quartey threw one punch at a time. Jab , Jab or a right hand...thats it. Flat footed ? Vargas was boxing and moving that whole fight. Quartey couldnt handle him that night, too much Ferocious !!!

So he sucks?? it doesnt matter how or what screwed up a mans career..he had the choice to take those fights no one else..The world tried screwing over the greatest fighter ever in muhmamad ali when they drafted him into the army...but when he came back from suspension he was still the greatest...so no excuses for vargas.

He doesnt suck. He's faded and shot ( thanks to Tito ) and he's had reoccurent back problems in his career. He's had tough "high contact" fights in his career. Cant blame him for being a warrior. He will also kick Mosely's ass next month !

hes a good fighter, he is done now. but he had some good fights. he over powered many oppnents, but after oscar Knocked him out he came back and never looked the same.

he wasnt the same after Tito knocked him out. tito shattered his chin. Vargas was dropped 5 times in a brutal 12 round fight. tito hit him with shots that take a serious toll on ya. after a physically brutal fight like that no one would be the same

ali was in a brutal fight with frazier ali lost and came back and had big fights.
vargas had two fights after and KOed wih in 10.
people are in big fights all the time they lose and come back. tito didnt break him he just have him his first loss

He was also quoted in an interview saying that there was something "unusually different" about Tito's punches. He had been hit hard before but never that hard. Joppy said the same thing. I'm not saying the illegal handwrap fiasco with Tito was true i'm just stating what I've read and heard.
