In terms of resume, yes. In terms of increasing his visibility, I would disagree.

I think a high profile fight in Vegas or NYC would help boost Loma's visibility. My guess is they do it in Russia where I'm sure it will be given a big push.

The goal for TR at this point is to try and elevate Loma into a fighter that can attract casual fans and sell out MGM and MSG size arenas without him losing. A dominant performance against Manny starts that process.

very good point you are right there it would increase his visibility to the casual market much like de la hoya did for pac (and floyd to some extent) I was just saying from a non casual boxing fans point of view it doesnt tell us much about lomas ability and his possible ceiling of how good he can eventually be once the competition steps up

im sure manny will give a couple of good rounds at best but we get so many 'money' fights these days I want to see some real competition now

I agree, Lomachenko is actually an inch taller than Pac so I don’t think it will be hard for him to move up to 140+ lbs.

Pac's hands are no more that quick but his power is still there and his power resistance might stay too.

Thats EXACTLY why they're mad at me.....I bring up the same standards that they held Floyd up to, the same arguments they used against Floyd. They get confused
