I guess it's only an issue if some fathers/trainers admit this.
Come on dude. Don't play ******. When other trainers, fathers or even promoters have expressed a guy isn't ready, the idiots start with duck, scared etc etc. When Loma's father said this, those guys said nothing. It's plain to see.

So you stoop to that level?

I think even the idiots you are pointing to wouldn't slam a trainer or whoever for saying moving up 3 divisions in one fight isn't a great idea.

If Crawford's trainer said "We won't fight Zurdo next we would like to fight one fight at 147" nobody would call that a duck yet it's called a duck when Loma does it? Got it.

What level? You've seen the threads on this forum and know exactly what I am talking about.

The Pac fight is being discussed at 140, not 147, so your claim of going up 3 weight classes is not factual. Maybe you just forgot.

The bottom line is Loma's dad's response was reasonable, same as other times reasonable reasons have been given for a fighter not fighting a given opponent. THat was Bronh2245's point.

Pac not getting past Lucas without Roach. This sounds like a fantasy. Plus Horn already exposed Pac

If he's fighting Pac at 140, then put him in with Devin Haney at 140

Pretty much hit the nail on the head here. I always thought the “Tank is ducking Loma” statements were silly.

I wonder how NSB will judge Loma if he doesn't fight certain guys?

What I really mean is I wonder if the same guys that make it their daily passion to point out all the guys that Floyd didn't fight will hold Loma to the standard they held Floyd-that unless he fights boxer x then he ducked them?

Of course they are. Loma's dad and Floyd are making smart decisions based on their experience. The job of a trainer is to develop a fighter so he can maximize his talent, not rush him into a fight he has little chance to win to prove to NSB denizens that he isn't ducking. The job of a promoter is to maximize the fighter's financial success.
