      Spot on. Just because a fighter shows promise and has legitimate talent doesn’t mean he should be thrown to the wolves. I mean, experience is a real thing ffs, and there’s only one way to get it. I commend fighters for taking steps up, but I would advise against it. Like Lubin for example. He deserves credit, but I questioned how ready he was. I would have had no problem had he passed on that fight.

      And it’s as if developing a fighter only applies to someone they’re a fan of. You have to be consistent.

        Yeah, Lubin is the perfect example of this. So was Fernando Vargas back in the day. Hubris may have cost both long, profitable careers.
