Floyd would beat Margarito. I dunno what all the fuss is about Antonio to be honest. Yeah, he's a decent fighter but nothing more than that. It wasn't long ago that he lost to Daniel Santos who has since lost himself. I know that was a division up but I don't see Margarito causing someone with the Pretty Boy's skills too many problems.

sometimes it takes an unskilled fighter to give skilled boxers their toughest fights
or even hand them a defeat

This would look like Whitaker/Vazquez, only these guys aren't on that level yet (and probably wont be). Margaritos size will help him a little but Floyd is just a better boxer period.

Gotta favor Floyd if this does come off.

Margarito is great only Floyd can probably beat him I don't see any other welterweight beating Margarito.

I hope PBF takes the Margarito fight if Oscar fails to meet him in Sept. I want all this speculation to end. A guy that got beat by Daniel Santos is going to whip Mayweather.

You obviously never watched the Santos fight. The fight was by no means a blow out, and it was stopped on a cut when Margarito may have went on to win the decision. He was fighting Santos in David's hometown, so that may have been a factor.

Santos lost recently, to a German in Germany if I recall. Plus the guy he lost to may very well be the next big thing at 154. We just don't know. Either way, styles make fights and to judge Tony off of Santos' loss is cheap.

exactly, i had margarito up in the fight
i dont know why everyone is saying he got "beat" by santos
and the fight was in santos' hometown, ofcourse margarito was going to be down on 2 of the 3 cards. People seem to forget the fight ended in a technical decision
