You obviously never watched the Santos fight. The fight was by no means a blow out, and it was stopped on a cut when Margarito may have went on to win the decision. He was fighting Santos in David's hometown, so that may have been a factor.

Santos lost recently, to a German in Germany if I recall. Plus the guy he lost to may very well be the next big thing at 154. We just don't know. Either way, styles make fights and to judge Tony off of Santos' loss is cheap.

Finally someone that watched the damn fight talks about what happend exactly, Margarito couldve won if they would've stopped the fight right after the cut happend, but they let it continue and that made him **** up and lose rounds, but then again the fight was in Puerto Rico, Santos hometown...

Even though you think this won't happen, but PRETEND that it does: Mayweather practically embarrasses Margarito on coast to a very wide UD. Would you still make excuses for Tony, just because he's Mexican and you have an uncontrolable bias towards Mexican fighters? Or would you actually accept that you were wrong and that Floyd is by far the better fighter?

Moments ago promoter Bob Arum informed **********.com that he has an $8M minimum guarantee for undefeated pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr to face WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito at the Thomas and Mack Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on HBO PPV on October 7. Obviously Arum has wanted a Mayweather-Margarito bout for quite some time, and with the Manny Pacquiao-Erik Morales rubbermatch scheduled to take place on November 18 he has more than one reason to prefer Mayweather-Margarito in October. Dude, 6 heads wasnt anything special and was so shot when Margarito fought him. Infact I still wasnt impressed with Margarito in that fight. That was the fight I saw when I knew that Floyd would kill him. Sure, he got the early KO but before that 6 heads was hitting him with so many clean shots and making him look dumb.

Margarito didnt do anyting special. People forget that Mayorga had just murdered 6 heads 2 times in a row right before there fight. Mayorga had already ruined him.

Marg has been at 147 for years. He has been rated by RING in the top 3 of that class for years. Your argument about Marg fighting nobodies looks silly, considering no one at 147 has a better resume. There aren't any household names at 147 anyway, at least not til Floyd got there.
