That's just a bull**** excuse for Floyd not to fight Marg. Marg was the highest rated welter out there before Floyd ever came about. That excuse doesn't work forever, as if Floyd should be given a free pass to avoid anyone who is a remote threat.

I could just as easily say Zab was ruined by Zoo and Baldy, and by his own lack of focus. Either way, 6 heads was not in any way making Margarito look dumb. The fight was competitive in every sense of the word, and then of couse 6 heads was destroyed. You need to rewatch the fight, bud.

No one at welter has a better history at that weight than Margarito, so if Marg doesn't 'deserve' to fight Floyd, no one does...so Floyd can go ahead and retire happily I guess.

Furthermore, you exaggerate far too much. Cintron was never about to get KOd by Reid. He was stunned once, but never did he look like he was about to go, and he was generally in control of the fight. Reid was not a pushover at that time anyway, and was known for his power. It's no shame that he stunned Cintron a bit.

Zab is unfocused, undisciplined, and altogether NOT the badass you are making him out to be. Santos would beat Zab, and so would Margarito. Zab could barely beat Rafael Pineda and lost to Carlos Baldomir. Santos is just as powerful as Baldy and much faster...he would eat up Zab. Zab spent most of his career at 140 and would just be tossed about at 154 by Santos. I'd bet every last dollar I had on that fight.
