Moments ago promoter Bob Arum informed **********.com that he has an $8M minimum guarantee for undefeated pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr to face WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito at the Thomas and Mack Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on HBO PPV on October 7. Obviously Arum has wanted a Mayweather-Margarito bout for quite some time, and with the Manny Pacquiao-Erik Morales rubbermatch scheduled to take place on November 18 he has more than one reason to prefer Mayweather-Margarito in October. More to follow, including a full one on one interview with Arum so stay tuned.

I mean Margarito hasn't proven nothing but everyone thinks this fight will be hard for Floyd. If Floyd doesn't think that then i suggest he takes this fight. It has big bucks written all over it. How you gonna plan to move to 147 and not fight Margarito?Comment

holly ****, this is it. once again the offer is on the table. and i thought arum said he would not offer the 8 million again but that is not the case. now if mayweather doesn't accept this fight then, it is offical that mayweather is scared to fight margarito.Comment
