I wasn't referring to Kovalev. I believe he wasn't signed to HBO but duva didn't want to fight on showtime.

He was negotiating the renewal of his HBO contract, so basically a free agent... Could have done it easily but decided to hide under HBO skirt... Oh, and they later bailed out of a purse bid they knew they would lose... So yeah...

Listen I am no neophyte when it comes to boxing. Don't be jumping into my Quotes without seeing my full story . We basically just discussed basic information I already knew. So please don't assume.

            Thank you

Yea, it sure is. Does this happen in any other sport? Maybe it does but I can't think of anything. Being owned by a tv network is ****ed up.

I want to thank BoxingScene for reporting the truth of the matter.
