Now for the aging part, the prime doesn’t really decline until 36 if you’re fit. It’s crazy because it just disappears. But you don’t really get the full blown man strength until 34. Wilder will just keep getting better & AJ has shown that he’s reached his peak, which is no ordinary peak.
2, 3 fights ago, & I’m a Wilder fan, AJ would have beaten Wilder. Now & even 3 years from now, Wilder will seriously hurt him. Wilder has disturbing power & the technique is finally starting to season.
Just my opinion. No shame in being a little apprehensive to fight a guy who had a 100% KO ratio for 30+ fights.
    Unless it’s for $50 million
36 end of prime and 34 man strength begins? Where do you get those stats from. I can imagine what man strength is but I've never heard it used much. How many top boxers best runs happen at 34 when they get their man strength? I'm struggling to think of many. Badou Jack, Hopkins .. but think of all the greats whose best years were over over by 34.

He should vacate the belts then and continue with his developmental growth

**** Barry. If Barry said relinquish the belt and let Joshua grow that would be advisable? What is all this development nonsense anyway? He is suggesting wait a year so by next year the fight will be more money. Who said anything about Joshua needing time to develop. You are a Joshua fan? You can sit this out from here I’ve got you. You are a bloody liability to the team. When were you harbouring these anxiety sentiments about the fight? It takes a 60 year old man to remind you Josh is not ready. It’s a fight bro. He loses he can come again. If Wilder loses it will be more difficult for him to get back to the top as the risk will definitely outweigh the reward facing Wilder

It makes AJ’s rise to the top in 16 fights look even more impressive. Wilder only has himself to blame, simple as that, you get boxers on their 5th fight talking about titles and shooting for the stars, so they elevate the standard they fight progressively. Wilder got into a comfort zone and stayed there for 25 bum squad fights...yep at least 25! That’s more than AJs entire career.
No Charles got lucky to be in title eliminator then his lack of handlers sold his belt to Eddie . Which was AJs easiest fight to date. The only person geeting belts on their fifth fight are ppl like Loma who have a longgg amature career which Deontay didn’t . His handlers kept feeding him bums cuz they were bad handlers. If this was the 90s America wouldn’t even accept him as our champion. The NFL changed the whole game not many ppl are boxing anymore. Deontay started boxing late, this is his peak.

I didn't say other fighters are getting title shots after 5 fights, I said they are dreaming about it, wanting it every day, asking for a chance to prove themselves. First I even heard of Wilder was when he reached about 28 fights and I looked at his record as was like damn he fought no-one. How do you even get to 28 fights without even one credible domestic rival, it would take some doing to dodge that many shows. Some of the responsibility has to be Wilders himself. My point is, he (and his fans) can't moan about not being in control of negotiations, he didn't put himself in the driving seat, he was lazy one way or another and now it's costing him $10m's.

Btw, I don't even dislike the guy, I think he has a pretty good story, at least as good as AJ's in terms of what motivates him etc, but what I don't like is he's not authentic, he puts on a persona, changes it too often, says too much stuff just for the headlines.

man is as good as his word. AJ PUBLICLY said $50 million and he'll sign the NEXT DAY. Then...backstep backstep, turn, curtsey, cowar to find an easier foe. AJ lost my respect with his cowardly excuses. Getting old man Hearn to try to weasel you out is low.

Don't project your beta insecurities on Wider fans. They don't have estrogen pumping through their veins like you Brits do.
