Wilder should have just accepted the 12.5 Million bc if big Breazeale lands one of those clubs on him and wns , Wilder is going to be labled Captain Idiot for the remainder of his career .
you literally won't even listen to eddie's father saying they put out a sham offer designed not to be taken.
they don't want this fight now. they just don't. i',m not going to suffer through some idiot looking up at a blue sky and telling me it's red because he's that f#cking ******, and eddie told him it was red.

You also dont schedule meetings then have them cancelled on you to find out the next day you have 24 hrs to accept some mysterious offer and in between tell your fighter not to go to the U.K to promote it .
One side doesnt want the fight next is correct .
If you understood the article hes talking from a business perspective and has nothing to do with Eddie or Joshuas decision making . Hes actually worried that Joshua will get bored after he defeats Wilder and be less focused on whats after .....
Literally has nothing to do with avoiding Wilder ,you guys just refuse to comprehend articles on this forum or are just incapable ? Which is why my first post addressed this ....lolLast edited by juggernaut666; 05-08-2018, 06:47 AM.

Makes sense, because he’s also had double the fights, but somehow he has less belts, go figure...

This is crap logic. If they leave it to "marinate" (I hate this term) then I actually think it's more likely that people lose interest, especially if either guy puts on a mediocre performance or - god forbid - loses in the meantime, which at HW is never impossible because every opponent hits hard. Wilder has looked devastating in his last two fights and is in the prime of his career, Joshua, despite his last fight not being exciting, has all the same just captured another world title belt and the awesome Klitschko fight is still recent enough to be at the forefront of people's memories. Both have hit the peak of what they're capable of without fighting the other guy. If they fail to do so, then whoever's at fault for putting the fight back takes a big hit to their reputation, and more importantly the sport as a whole will be cast into disrepute - the sport is in a dicy spot reputation-wise with Canelo v GGG 2 getting derailed because of doping allegations. If AJ-Wilder, the other big fight, gets derailed because of promoter greed and politics then it's like all of boxing's critics are vindicated. This fight needs to happen within the next 12 months at a minimum but preferably before the end of summer for the sake of the big picture of the sport if nothing else.

brits have bought 5 AM ppv in the past. they'll only be a piece of the revenue anyway. there's no place on the planet wehre a major casino will pay you to host the fight, the tickets sell for 10 grand ringside and 500-1000 in the nosebleeds, and where people will buy a $75 us ppv.
just for a little perspective, joshua vs klitschko did less at the gate than ancient bernard hopkins vs joe freaking calzaghe. at the time the world knew damn well that chad dawson was the best LHW on the planet, too.
yeah even canelo/Chavez did a higher gate than aj/wlad
