AJ is the A side, so he's not going to let Wilder's side control everything. He's going to want Hearn to have some say. It just stands to reason.

AJ has no problem with the money, but he has said the devil is in the detail. We're going to have to wait and see what exactly is going to be in the contract. For all we know there could be loads of things that don't make any sense like having options on AJ's future fights and there not being a rematch clause when the A side always has a rematch clause in big fights like this.

That's what they are sorting out.

The fight happening is getting better by the day, so lets hope they can work out a deal and deliver this fight.
What? A.J is no longer the A side with 12.5 bs offers.. wilders side is the A side.. if we are offering double AJ. Highest pay..

Wilder isn't worth much, that's just the truth of it. He earns a lot less than Joshua and doesn't come close to selling the same amount of tickets. So how is that making out they don't want the fight? It isn't. People are obviously going to talk about the money side of things and what exactly is in the contract because that is what is holding up the fight right now.

It's a boxing forum, so of course people are going to talk about all the goings on. That includes the money side of things.

No one is saying they don't want the fight. That's just you reading into things. Of course we want this fight.

He's not going to just accept the money without knowing what is in the contract. That would be ******. Every fighter cares about what is in the contract. For you to believe he shouldn't only shows the bias you have with regards to this fight.

AJ is still the A side no matter how much money Wilder's side offers. He holds all the cards. Don't forget who is getting the 50 Mill guarantee here... It sure ain't Wilder.

The interest in this fight is all down to AJ. No one cares about Wilder. If they did they would pay for tickets and not leave him with half empty arenas every time he fights.

AJ is surely the bigger star, but he is the one who publicly offered to be bought out. If the fight can really generate 100 million like Haymon/Finkel/Showtime think it can, and they put up the money, and it's a 50/50 split, it's really not as clear anymore who the A-side is. The lead promoter is really who decides that and the lead promoter would likely be Dibella or Mayweather.

See, this is where you lose a lot of credibility. AJ is such a bigger star than Wilder that there's no reason to lie to boost your position. But you choose to lie anyway. Why? Clearly people care about Wilder. He's the biggest ratings draw on Showtime and the biggest box office draw at Barclays. Just because AJ is more popular doesn't mean Wilder is unpopular. If Wilder was unpopular, there wouldn't be so much demand for this fight.

But you're just flat out lying. Barclays was not half empty. It was one of the largest boxing crowds in the history of Barclays. Why can't you just stick to the facts? Facts that paint AJ in a very positive light. There's no reason to lie about Wilder. Why not just have an honest reasonable discussion?

              • I wonder what the wilder fanatics are going to say once aj desposses of that fraud paper champ wilder

                • I agree with AJ being the A side, holding 3 titles, has a house hold name and is generating more than Wilder.

Wilder and Lou DiBella should take a either 60/40 split

that would be nice if hearn actually offered a percentage, they should have never offered a flat rate and aj should have never asked for 50mil, I have no idea why we are back at square one with aj being the A side, everyone including wilder agrees with that. they should have negotiated a deal from the get go like they have done with every other fighter, 60/40 is fair but instead its all this nonsense. now they are advising aj to stall the fight for business purposes and the fans are backing it as if they will profit. this is all too much.
