If that’s the case then Bellew is a brave warrior and should be respected

I saw an interview where Bellew said that he isn't a HW, it was just for this fight. He is a CW and he also said if he were to fight Wilder he'd win the first 6 or 7 rounds before Wilder catches him with a shot and knocks him out.

        • I expect Haye to ask for a trilogy. He wasn't 100% going into the fight...or his right hand was injured or things like that.

Bellew is not a HW, don't let his victory over a shot Haye, who was himself a small HW who in his prime survived in a weak division on speed and that fearsome power shot, which alas seems to have been surgery'd out of him.

Someone on the circuit told me that Haye hasn't been able to complete a pro level training session for 4 years (or more) without requiring ice, physio, bandages and meds. Basically every session his body has told him to give it up. Coldwell knew this and trained Bellew for this HW contest, not to be a HW career boxer.

Bellew at HW, is gonna get hurt.
The division right now has guys with faults that can be exploited. You are focused on Haye but Bellew cannot control how Haye shows up to fight. He fought well and showed some good chops, nobody I mentioned is so good, so bulletproof that they cannot be exploited. I did say that Joshua and Whyte are too big and too well rounded imo but I stand by the other possibilities.

Haye may well have been just able, but Bellew did not struggle with him either.

            • Just got done watching Jamie ''headcase'' Cox quit again and David Haye gas in 2 rounds and get beaten from pillar to post. Great card!

              • Haye's chin and legs quit on him.

                • I think Usyk and Gassiev both beat Bellew.

There isn't really anywhere for Bellew to go from here, he wouldn't have a chance against anyone Top 10 at HW, at a push maybe Brezeale is a nothing fight he could win, but really unless Charles Martin finds another belt whilst out for midnight walk, Bellow can't pick anything up.

Bellow was making a name when Cruiserweight was an empty division, it's gotten better. He'd have zero chance at LHW (not that he could make the weight anyway) but even if he could make weight, he got out of LHW as soon as the temp was turned up, he wouldn't want that anymore.

How on earth we're even talking about him at HW, he's probably even wondering that himself. Perhaps he could drag Audley Harrison out of retirement and beat up another shot fighter or start calling out Mike Tyson maybe.
I would watch a Adonis rematch.
