For the biggest fights the USA has more money to put up than Europe. HBO and even Showtime are hard to beat when they want to put on an event. For all other fights it seems that Europe is able to compete with the US and often win.
I just wish that many of these fights outside the USA were broadcast live, even on pay-per-view...

They build up their career in Europe, there is a ton of money there, than the promoters bring the fighters to the USA when there is enough money to make their own money from PPV's.
