I would say Hopkins, GGG had been defending a secondary belt for years. Keep in mind that GGG has only beat one champ for a title in Lemieux for the IBF. Both the WBA and WBC were handed to him after being elevated to champ.

FACT: Trinidad was a HUGE favorite, and undefeated
FACT: Hopkins knocked him out
Trinidad knocked out middleweights before/after fighting Hopkins
before he sc****d past Jacobs, Golovkin's best win was LemieuxComment

I remember that fight clearly. When it was announced and people were touting Trinidad I couldn't believe it. Tito was too small for Hopkins. I'm not taking anything away from Hopkins or Tito but at Middleweight against Hopkins he was in over his head physically and skill wise.Comment

He was a huge favorite, so what? The FACT is Trinidad was, when all was said and done, a mediocre middleweight.Comment

I posted this before but I will again. When the fight was announced and people were rating Trinidad over Hookins I was in disbelief. Tito was a very good fighter but wasn't on Bernards level skillwise or physically.Comment

Golovkin does not have a win of that caliber at 160.... that is what lol
Hopkins best win is Trinidad..... Golovkin's best win is Jacobs
not even close..... and yet another silly golov-discussionComment

your " supposed " opinion..... is irrelevant
sorry, but not convinced at all that you thought that
FACT: Tito was a huge favorite following his KO of Joppy..... and Hopkins knocking him out is a much bigger scalp than Golovkin scraping past Danny Jacobs..... who nobody gave a chanceComment

the comparison is Trinidad vs Jacobs
stop bashing Tito you muppets, and tell me how the fk Jacobs is better lolComment
