considering the fact that he was still in Mexico exposed to contaminated meat and not in the USA yet for start of his training camp it makes perfect sense. His training camp was set to start in March in the US he was tested in Feb where he isn't on a diet or training yet and exposed to contaminated meat. My guess if you test tons of Mexican fighters outside their 8 week training camp while they are IN MEXICO they would fail tests too.

That part doesn't really ring true. I believe that the hair as it leaves your scalp represents drug use (or not) from 5-7 days in the past. Drugs are not just hanging out in your follicles for 6 months.

That appears to be the case. There was apparently about 50 or so days between Canelo's likely ingestion of Clenbuterol (sometime in the week or two prior to 17/2) and his sample at end March. If I'm interpreting the attached diagram right that should mean the appropriate sample section for Canelos hair would be in the 3 - 6 cm range. I wonder how often he has it trimmed.
