It seems to me, that nobody is allowed to make an offer to fight Joshua. He is his own brand. He has endorsements, sponsorships, and network contracts and responsibilities. If Haymon/Finkel staged one of his fights, then they would own all rights to the fight and would control any other brands/logos that are seen during the fight. Do you think that they would allow Joshua to display any of his endorsement brands?

whatda
is all about greedy promoters and boxers mocking around and forgetting the fans that their money making it all happens for them..so why messing with such a huge opportunity messing around with it,,what waiting one of boxers finally spoils his perfect record and loss to new challenger??then Joshua vs wilder would loss all it's value,,this is huge for both boxers,,even win or loss would stay like rumble in jungle... is so ****** thing if they not facing this two boxers next,,Joshua would get all belts if win..and wilder would show his belt and 40 wins really meant something

I wonder how serious either side is with named fighters already interested in next fights for both of them. I still think both men want this fight and both men realize they need each other for legacy. But unlike the boxing fans and media, niether man thinks he has to fight the other yet. They both see their own personal brand as either just hitting stride (Wilder) or being huge enough there is still good money and fights to be made without the biggest one out there (Joshua). Do I believe there was a 50 million dollar offer? I think there may have, but I am sure Joshua's team does not.
If this doesn't get done soon, it isn't next. But I still have zero doubt it happens. Just hope it is before either of them slip up.

Until they meet in the ring this will remain a topic of speculation. However there are still useful ways of objectively assessing the relative merits of each fighter. This includes looking at the respective records of each man, the quality and rankings of their opposition, the best win on each respective resume and the progression of sir relative careers.
I look forward to you backing up yr assertion using those criteria.
But AJ actually asked for a $50 million guarantee and said he would agree immediately. Wilder gave him that offer.
Its not just adding some lines, they are called facts. Yes, Wilder is not going to give AJ 80+ percent of the purse. And why offer a flat fee if AJ isn't scared??? Wilder's offer is for $50 million and if it is over $100 million it is a 50-50 split.
AJ demanded $50 million, and got it, and now he is still scared. Here suck on this while the rest of the world laughs at how chickens*** AJ is.

Hearn needs proof from Haymon, Showtime, and Finkel that they will pay?!?!???
All three have been in the fight game since Betty was in diapers and have never not honored a boxing contract. He needs proof? Fine, have him call Manny or McGregor. Ask them if Showtime and Haymon paid or if they tried to stiff them.
Betty and AJ get the blame for saying they do not trust the manager with over 200 fighters and 20+ years of experience, Showtime which has been honoring their contracts with boxers going all the way back to Mike Tyson, and Finkel who has been in boxing 20+ years and has also always paid what he signs in a contract.
It is Showtime and Haymon. No one doubts that Haymon and Showtime will not honor a contract they sign.
That and Betty said he can't negotiate because he would rather call names then have his fighter get a guaranteed $50 million.
Showtime and Haymon don't need to prove they have **** because it is already well known both always pay what is in the contract. That is a b.s. excuse, and that is why the entire world outside of a handful of people in England are laughing at how scared he is.

They want the fight, but the question is how long is AJ's contract with Betty, and does AJ want the fight and the $50 million more than he wants to be buddies with Hearn? Everyone involved including both fighters have said they want this. The only person who has came up with excuses and not said they want this fight is Hearn.
