Well I think even some of the American boxing journalists caught on that this fight was already made, they knew after the last press release that Team Wilder were playing games with them. Publicity stunt was the right word. Am sure after the fight he would accuse the world of ducking him, whilst he ducks his own number 1 guy in Whyte.

Nothing unusual about this. You almost always have a back up plan ready to go in these situations. Wilder 100% wants AJ next, but if AJ won't fight him, Wilder's team has a responsibility to have something else lined up for him just in case.

Wilder is 100% available to fight AJ. Wilder will only fight Breazeale next if AJ won't fight.

I don’t buy the whole PR stunt thing. Why would Shelley be doing interviews? It doesn’t make sense to me. Haymon has a reputation, now if Shelley is running point on the Joshua negotiations then it would make sense. However anyone other than Haymon negotiating the actual dollar amount would be a ****** move on Wilders side.

You used to be a lot more balanced, but you're starting to drink the kool-aid very hard.

Team Wilder isn't playing games. The 50 million is a legit offer. If AJ doesn't want the 50 million, Wilder will fight Breazeale. That is not a game. That is being prepared.

We don’t have kool-aid here not healthy, that was a publicity stunt offer that has been called out by educated Americans. No legit offer 50m offer gets accepted without signing things. You guys can continue drinking those kool-aids doe..

See. Look at what you've become. You used to be one of the most fair and balanced posters on this site. Now you've turned into a brainwashed fanboy. What happened to you man? It's sad to see.

It's been explained many times and it's really quite simple. If Hearn would like to negotiate the details of a fight, Finkel just wants an assurance from Hearn that he would accept 50 million if the other details were negotiated to Hearn's satisfaction.

What part of that are you struggling to understand? Duco refused to meet with Hearn until they agreed on a framework for the money in the Parker fight. Arum refused to meet with Haymon until they agreed on a framework for the money in the Pacquiao fight. I could list dozens of examples if you really want me to. This is standard operating procedure. The B-side, to make sure they're not wasting their time and getting jerked around, will often want some sort of understanding on the money before sitting down to hammer out the other particulars.
