"Mayweather sat back in his seat, stewed and decided to walk back across the Heat court at halftime to confront Pacquiao, who had gone along with Arum's reporting that the boxer had signed a contract that was only awaiting a Mayweather signature.
"Show me a screen shot of the signed contract," Mayweather said he told Pacquiao, in a moment that was captured by fans on camera phones and later blew up Twitter."
"Mayweather and Pacquiao agreed to meet after the game, and they ultimately united at Pacquiao's hotel room.
There, Pacquiao expressed how serious he was to strike a deal, and Mayweather showed his sincerity by placing an after-midnight phone call to Haymon in front of Pacquiao, telling the manager he wanted the deal, according to fight officials."
If what Floyd says there is true, then the deal had either already been negotiated and just needed the 2 fighters to agree to it, or Haymon and Arum got it made after Floyd rang Haymon up from Manny's hotel.Comment

Oh, I'm not denying that the offer was revealed the way it was as a publicity stunt. That doesn't mean it's not a real offer. You're thinking of it as a "this or that" situation and it's not. Somebody can make a legit offer and choose to reveal the offer in a way that maximizes coverage.
This is 50 million dollars, for that much you would want to sit down with the other side. For them to accept your terms and sign it off. You don’t say “please accept” and we are not ready to meet etc.Comment

I think Joshua earns more fighting Wider vs those 3 dudes vs those 3 dudes + a 4th non-Deontay guy, win, lose or draw so idk if its a real thing or not. I think Joshua's value is gonna be there. UK fans aren't as fairweather as US fans.Comment

Don't act like a contract is some magical f#cking thing. You could write that deal on the back of a stripper joint beer napkin & it'd be binding.
Just f#cking fight you mfing dipsh^ts doe. Joshua wants it. Wilder wants it. F#ck all these other guys with money who can surely pay them what they say they will.Comment

Sure they would, but why not hear it officially from someone higher up than Wilder's associate manager? It's a record offered payment for a HW fight.Comment

Totally inaccurate. It was a take it or leave it offer. Don't add the stuff Hearn said AFTER the offer was sent and Dibella provided their initial response to the mix.
Dude this isn't a contest or a debate where somebody has to be proven wrong. Thus no need to spin facts.
Check out this article from Ring Magazine which quotes Hearn.

If the money is guaranteed then sure I'd sign in a second and so will they. It's incredible money but it's natural to question if it really exists. Could be too good to be true and that appears to be the case since they cancelled today's meeting and tomorrow's after a request to confirm it's genuine.Comment

You DON'T think a beer napkin contract is binding? LOL like I said if you think a contract is some magical thing then fair play, but you're wrong. They aren't. They are a signed deal on paper, any paper.
Maybe you could write a contract on a snow filled car with your finger & take a picture of it too idk.Comment
