Jkp that’s what I’m saying it’s all a bluff wilders team know he might very much lose to AJ they just trying make AJ look bad but have no intention of putting their fighter in with a young 6’6 fighter that can punch and have skill he ain’t no 6’4 slow and fat like most of chump squads resume

Eventually, after this boring game goes on an on and on. When it's long overdue, they'll finally get down to business.

This is where I'm at too. The meeting cancellation was the last straw for me. I like boxing not panto.

I briefly hoped we were getting closer to this but I expect both sides to blame the other, announce respective fights and for this nonsense to burble on in the background.

No doubt it will soon be spun into competing 'narratives' which some people will fail to spot for what they are - marketing tools, which will be developed over the next few months before a staged breakthrough will deliver the fight and the phoney war begins in earnest.

On the plus side AJ Povetkin should be a cracker.

So if AJ accepts , wilder will tell the whole world it was just a joke and he doesn't have the money? I don't think so.

Why did wilder give him a deadline seems to me hes just trying to make AJ look bad by pulling out at the last minute then say u see guys AJ didn’t want the fight that’s some shady pathetic stuff if u ask me smh
I don't know if the 24 hour deadline was true, all am going to say is, why the rush for that amount of money. Details would need to be looked at.

Yeah, i was actually just laughing when i heard "Meeting off" but i live in the real world and everything points to AJ/Povetkin and Wilder/breazeale right now.

One thing i know is when this two final meet, that fight would be negotiated face to face NOT on social media, offers would be agreed to face to face NOT on email, and contracts would be signed on a table NOT on an electronic email.

I've been a fan of Hearn for a few years now as an American located fan. I've watched him intently. He's a smart guy. He knows this business sliver or gold spoon & all. I listen to what he says. I notice what he doesn't say. He's the modern day King or Arum with less corruption/sketchiness associated with him.

And what I feel watching & listening to Hearn with all this Joshua vs Wilder stuff is at his core he does not want that fight next. Why is a whole other question & a tougher question. It could just be to maximize profit. It could be he thinks Joshua is only getting better/learning more & Wilder will be easier to beat by Joshua in 18 months than he'll be in 6 months.

But regardless of that Hearn doesn't want this fight right now so I feel like the Haymon/Wilder/Finkel side could feel like the way to get this fight more likely to happen is to take it more towards Joshua himself cuz as I keep saying Joshua IS the guy in all this. If Joshua says for everyone to jump & you want the fight to happen next you need to ask how high. So getting that guy thinking about getting 50mill added to his bank account isn't a bad way to steer Hearn towards steering the way Joshua wants him to steer basically.

Idk just my thoughts. But by no means do I think Haymon or Finkel are in the bait & switch or tricking business with stuff like this. I think both guys are standup guys. Hell I think Hearn is a standup guy more than most UK guys think of him from the sounds of it, BUT he don't want this f#cking fight next. I can see through anything this mfer says about this fight with that sh^t. I've never seen him present more outs & options for a fighter than he's tried to do for Joshua with this Wilder stuff on the cusp of getting figured out. Its f#cking obvious as f#ck Hearn isn't looking forward to Joshua vs Wilder next.

I would understand if they didn't trust Don King, but Haymon? Hearn might be hurting himself and MatchRoom if he gets on the wrong side of Haymon!
