Floyd did not rematch Pacquiao. That was the biggest fight to date too. So, what's your point? Wilder just upped the ante on AJ by making it a winner takes all scenario. If AJ is that confident, why should he care? If he wins, he holds all the belts and moves on to better things. If he loses, Wilder moves on with all the belts. That simple, bro!

There really isn't better things to move on to. Any decent promoter will be looking at this with the long game in mind...2-3 fight series. The objective for most people involved in the sport is to make money.
