There are also Vegas interest working in the background here. The city is in dire need of a mega-fight. I met with execs there this past January. They miss that Mayweather weekend money badly lol

Now if you back track and try to change your demands then you look real bad no matter how hard your fanbase tries to twist and turn things.
It Is Receipts so it is no getting out of this one, remember HIS OWN WORDS:
Not taking sides I just want to see the FIGHT and if they came up with the 50 Million HE SAID he would accept then no reason why this fight can't happen next!
They also put Eddie in a tough situation because now AJ and his team would have to question. OK WTF do we need Eddie for if Al Haymon can come up with $50 Million. AJ just basically negotiated a deal for himself without Eddie

You deserve Trump & he deserves you. Bluster & Bull**** from DiBallbag & co. Apparently there’s a 24 hour window to accept or decline. What utter garbage. They’ll have their phones turned off until tomorrow night then.
Wilder & his team are an embarrassment.

The fight will be made. Nothing to be worried about. All this talk is just for buzz. Too many cats letting themselves get played and caught into the ducking game. The worst form of Boxing discussion and what makes Boxing fans the worst in all sports.

Its like why would you let Hearn have it anyways, even if it isn't the money maker everyone thinks? They'd still be hogging the market.Last edited by Biolink; 04-25-2018, 08:01 PM.

How could Joshua refuse this?
Am I reading this right or am I missing something? Sounds insane.
Joshua gets his money, Wilder gets whatever his contract money is, and DiBella/Haymon (or whomever the backer is) holds the bag, hopefully looking to make the loss back on the next fight.

Why no rematch, if this is a $100m fight, why wouldn't you do it twice? The only logic would be that they hope to rig the win somehow or they believe it's a massive mismatch in Wilders favour that wouldn't draw a second audience.
Anyway, Hearn is too savvy to accept without a rematch clause, its just a bad business deal without it.
I think AJ would accept it though, he's got the right attitude to cope with the pressure and the way Wilders career has been managed it would be ironic that he ends up with one of his worst pay days for his biggest fight and ends up losing the title.Last edited by sportbuddha; 04-25-2018, 08:07 PM.
