Which is a massive power play for someone in his position. Basically, it's one fight to potentially hand over all the power in the division with no risk mitigation whatsoever, could turn the momentum from UK to US in one fight. Looked at like that it's a terrible business deal from Hearn's perspective.
I wonder, what lengths would someone like Haymon go to, to make sure that happened? Any, literally any, it's like his dream come true.Comment

There really isn't better things to move on to. Any decent promoter will be looking at this with the long game in mind...2-3 fight series. The objective for most people involved in the sport is to make money. Wilder's team is shooting themselves in the foot...what's he gonna go back to making 2mil if he loses and aj moves on to fight fury or someone else? I doubt Joshua's side takes the fight without a rematch clause anyway.Floyd did not rematch Pacquiao. That was the biggest fight to date too. So, what's your point? Wilder just upped the ante on AJ by making it a winner takes all scenario. If AJ is that confident, why should he care? If he wins, he holds all the belts and moves on to better things. If he loses, Wilder moves on with all the belts. That simple, bro!Comment
