Curious as to how you define "legit" in this day and age of HW. Seems everyone has there own. I do think the Chisora win puts Whyte into "legit" territory, although behind Pulev, Ortiz, and Povetkin. But he has shown enough skill and blowing out bad fighters to get him on that basic tier 2 level.

If not Whyte and those three, who is legit?

Whyte proved he is exactly the same level as Chisora. Chisora lost to "Agit Kabayel" recently, which suggests this "Agit Kabayel" should be ranked way ahead of Whyte as he is clearly a better fighter if he can beat Chisora.

Whyte hasn't blown out bad fighters, he struggled terribly with an old Chisora, and couldnt even hit Helenius who lay stationary on the ropes for 8 rounds because he had 5 days prep.

His best win was against Browne, who is one of the few boxers on earth, crap enough to make Whyte look good.

The biggest win of his life against a man who needed PED's to fight the white rhino Dave Allen.

To be fair, rumor holds that Saskia Jade also needed PEDs to last the distance with Allen.

Browne was never #1 of anything, hes a complete myth. He was never good when he was young, fit and on the juice, and he definitely isnt good when hes old, fat and off the juice.

Clutching at straws if your claiming a win against a Browne as a greatest achievement, thats a joke.

I remember that Stiverne - who did nothing to earn an eliminator with Povetkin in the first place - failed a PED test before the fight but was given a pass by the WBC because "it was the first time he had failed a drug test and there was no evidence he was deliberately cheating"

Then after Povetkin also failed a drug test the WBC gave Stiverne the mandatory slot without him having to fight an eliminator against anybody for it. Corrupt bastards, the lot of them.

The question was how did Stiverne become mando. He was supposed to fight for it...but....the rest is history.

Wilder's fans are annoying/delusional/warped they use their own opinions and try to make them true, but this right here is truth.

There are some assumptions in that post.

1. Hearn had to push for a in person meeting. Did Hearn say that?
2. When Wilder asked that he be promised the Joshua fight if he fought Whyte he had not yet asked for a flip of the splits in a rematch.

The post also left out the fact that Hearn said he believed he could squeeze in one more fight before Wilder. It also left out the fact that Joshua said that he would possibly fight someone else next.

I wish UK fans would work harder at sending a message that the only fight they wanna see is Joshua Wilder than they are currently working to prove Wilder is ducking.

I think it's just too quick to put Ortiz in the mix again after a title loss.
He should at least one or two fights before fighting a mandatory eliminator.
