I smell BS. What is WBC's issue with Whyte that no matter what he does its still not enough to become mandatory?
But all in all this is a dangerous test for Whyte. If he makes through it, his stock will go through the roof. On the other hand, if he doesn't...
P.S. It seems like the fate is conspiring, with Wilder's help, not to make much money for Wilder. He could have fought Whyte for $5mil, but now he will fight Breazele for $2m at best. And if Whyte loses, he will fight Ortiz again for the same $2m. Its like he hates money..
P.P.S. And why is it Ortiz who has just lost to Wilder gets a chance for a !final! eliminator?Last edited by alexjust; 04-24-2018, 05:31 PM.

Whytes offered to fight Ortiz before but Ortiz had the better rankings will Dillan do the reverse to him who knows. Either way Dillan fights a top 10 .. fine by me.
I'd have rather see Ortiz been mando for the WBA and have a crack at Joshua , Whyte vs Wilder .. just to mix it up a bit. Anyway good fights.

So all Whyte has to do is beat the old bum Ortiz and he is mando. Shouldn't the UK fans be thrilled at this news. Then again, if Ortiz wins, they have to eat crow on all that Wilder is ducking Whyte talk. Awesome! Either way, we get a good scrap.

Whyte fought an eliminator in 2016 and is the WBC NO1 why should he fight Ortiz in a “final eliminator “ he has just been Kod 7 weeks ago by Wilder.
Eddie Hearn needs to get legal on Mauricio and the WBC to enforce Whiytes No1 position.
