under the WBC rules Ortiz coming off a stoppage loss to Wilder shouldn’t be eligible for a final eliminator without first fighting an eliminator the WBC is coming across as a Mickey Mouse organisation

1) Joshua has said numerous times he wants Wilder next. Hearn has too for the record. Wilder has also said similar things to the press.

This is documented and on YouTube for those that think otherwise.

If it hasn't happened today it will happen tomorrow. Hearn will be at the press conference for Jacobs-Sulecki on Thursday morning so I doubt the meeting will be before that.

This is similar to the meeting that took place in the first full week of November 2017. Hearn was ready to meet them then to get the logistics of the fight put together.

4) Wilder has offered to fight whyte if Joshua was in contract , but also only ever stipulated he would take a Joshua fight at 50/50 over two fights . In affect saying he will fight whyte if that deal is in the contract which no different to the deal he has offered to fight Joshua (in the press) now.

After Wilder's fight against Washington last February, he had the time to fight Stiverne to honor his mandatory defense. He waited it out and in that timeframe an offer was brought up for Wilder to fight Whyte. He had not been paid more than 1.5 million base salary for a fight up to that point. Yet he wanted 7 million instead of the 3 million offered.

5) Hearn/Whyte offered Wilder a fight 2-3 times his best pay but was declined by Wilder.

Ortiz was never the WBC mandatory, so not sure what you mean about him being mandatory "again."

#2 Povetkin turned down the fight as he's already the WBA & WBO mandatory and he's not interested in fighting another eliminator.

#3 Breazeale turned down the fight as he's getting a title shot this summer if Joshua vs. Wilder isn't made.

Makes you think he knows he's getting a title shot this summer and that Joshua v Wilder will not be happening. If Joshua v Wilder happens and then the WBC call a mandatory (which is due) then Breazeale will be sat out in the cold waiting when he could have just taken an eliminator and then be guaranteed a shot if he wins... Generally speaking the only reason not to take it is if he is already guaranteed a shot as Wilder's next opponent. This and the previous rumours that Wilder v Breazeale was already agreed comes across pretty suspect.

Whyte has already fought an eliminator so has Brazeale so surely if any final eliminator is called it would be against these guys the No1 & 2 ranked not Ortiz who got Kod 7 weeks ago by Wilder and hadn’t fought since I can see this getting legal the WBC are a joke.

This pretty much confirms Wilder-Breazeale is a done deal. First, Breazeale declined the IBF eliminator vs Pulev. And now instead of having an WBC eliminator Whyte (#1) vs Breazeale (#2) we have Whyte vs Ortiz. So much for Wilder wanting to fight Joshua next.
