I’m sure they hired him with the sole intent of keeping him away from triple gee!!! And when Golovkin gets beat they will use him to try to beat Canelo!!! We know Canelo will not be with HBO for ever so he gets no protection plan!!!
Andrade is ranked #1 by WBO, #3 by WBA, #5 by WBC & IBF

1. The guy blatantly turned down Charlo.
2. Chose not to fight Austin Trout.
3. Worked hard to become Lara's mandatory, once he won that regular wba belt from Culcay, he vacated it and left the entire weight division.
4. Signed a 3 fight deal with HBO
5. Blatantly turned down a Sergiy fight - which would have made him mandatory to GGG
6. Gets dropped by HBO after his Fox performance. HBO decided not to budget anymore of his last 2 fights remaining on his deal
The guy has messed up any and all opportunities that were presented to him. Most of these very opportunities he squandered away were the very opportunities that he worked so darn hard for.
Ladies and gentleman: this is what happens when you ALL you care about is your undefeated record.
I'm not fooled by him calling out Hurd, Lara, Jermall, Jermell, Canelo, GGG. Because when it came to challenge himself and make a name for himself and take a risk, he opted out.Comment

Wisful thinking. This entire scenario is based on GGG losing. That's IF the fight gets made in September in the first place.Canelo needs fights, full stop.
The chances that Golovkin becomes a PPV attraction are basically being given up on by HBO (going from having the big rollout ready for the Alvarez rematch to barely being willing to invest any money when that fight doesn't happen makes that rather clear).
Saul Alvarez wins the rematch, and moves on from Golovkin. And then the Canelo show takes off.
With September done, the path to the May fight begins; pressure doesn't mean much to Alvarez, so if one of the organizations pushes for their mandatory to be settled on a timeline that Alvarez is not on, he'll politely tell them to go **** themselves and give them there belt back.
By the time that Alvarez fights, after the assumed September fight, Demetrius Andrade would've like already fought for the WBO belt and beaten Billy Joe Saunders.
With Alvarez looking for his next fight, he'd have Daniel Jacobs (WBA mandatory, signed to HBO), Billy Joe Saunders (WBO champion), or Demetrius Andrade (WBO mandatory and likely champion, signed to HBO) as the foremost options to fight on HBO PPV.
Gotta think longterm.
Andrade isn't getting passed Saunders either.
Canelo is not gonna face tall, rangy, agile, powerful, athletic, long boxer punchers like Charlo and Jacobs. Those two will be a huuuuuge problem for Canelo. Huuuuge.Comment

Canelo Alvarez is a PPV fighter and basically the sole earner driving HBO Boxing, full stop.Wisful thinking. This entire scenario is based on GGG losing. That's IF the fight gets made in September in the first place.

If you think Billy Joe Saunders beats Demetrius Andrade, that's your choice; envision the scenario with that in mind.
Still, Alvarez is going to be basically fighting in May and September, for however long he still wants to fight, on PPV for likely all of them.
Regardless of how difficult the actual fights would be, the viable PPV fights for Alvarez at this point are the Golovkin rematch, Billy Joe Saunders, a WBO title fight against Demetrius Andrade, and a fight against Daniel Jacobs in NYC at MSG; could even add fighting Jermall Charlo at JereyLand, but that deal is likely a pain to make. If Alvarez wants to sc**** the barrel, fighting David Lemieux after he beats a couple more cans might come into something.
Alvarez will deal with his suspension, and when the time for talks happens, Alvarez will call his shot (the expectation is that Golovkin is the September fight, but I have a sense that Golovkin turning the tainted meat into as big a stink as it was, on top of the taunting and disparaging of his character by Team Golovkin, will leave Alvarez ready to tell Golovkin to go **** himself and fight on HBO's $1m budget events, choosing to fight Billy Joe Saunders instead).
The September fight will happen, Alvarez will go on and enjoy his time away from fighting with his family, the rest will happen, Alvarez will get back into his gym rhythm again, and then call the shot for his May fight at some point in December/January.
After the May fight is done with, Alvarez will again survey the landscape and pick his September fight before the end of June.
Alvarez is 49-1-2, a world champion at 154lbs, a world champion at 160lbs, victor of the Alvarez-ChavezJr fight, and likely has the chance to clip a world title at 168lbs, if the opportunity presents itself. To his fans, Alvarez is bulletproof at this point.
Win or lose, Alvarez can't lose because his legacy is set; the only thing that would affect his standing would be something like a 4 round beating, entirely one way action, where Chepo Reynoso would have to jump into the ring to save Alvarez's life.
Alvarez will fight whatever fight gives him the biggest event, almost regardless of who he'd end up fighting.
Golovkin has no such luck because his entire run has been built on a facade, so getting smoked by one of the two or three legit fighters that he'd face would kill what little legacy he has.Comment

Huh? You pretty much just told me that Canelo is a ppv star. No one argued that.Canelo Alvarez is a PPV fighter and basically the sole earner driving HBO Boxing, full stop.

I simply said he won't choose to fight Jacobs or Charlo.Comment

Where do you come up with his s***. Lmao. Andrade was never offered that kind of money! The only reason he didn't fight Checko in December was because HBO told him that he absolutely would not be fighting on that card in December so he got out of the gym. Then with 3 weeks remaining they offered him the fight !!! Andrade said no but I'll fight him in January or February no problem and he agreed to fight him for only $100k for himself !!! in January AND again in February. And unlike you I can prove it!!! Chenko's side turned it down because they wanted more money !!!!!! They wanted the same money that HBO offered in December. But HBO offered only half of that and Chenko's side said no way. Can't blame them but it had NOTHING to do with Andrade's side at all.Comment

Exactly.... what can you do with a 6'5" guy in survival mode. They are going to survive if that's their only intention. It was a foolish opponent for him but that's the guy they wanted him to fight. Then they complain because he looked bad! Yea right !!!Why do you guys keep talking about the Fox fight when he caught Fox with a punch in the 1st round then Fox went on survival mode the rest of the fight & Fox is taller than him & used his height well! Instead of giving some props to Fox you guys trash Boo Boo. Ya'll need to get focused!Comment
