Who knows? Doesn't seem like any of the sanctioning bodies want these guys to fight each other.

HBO dumped him after looking like ass in the Fox fight. Jacobs-Andrade would be cool though....

Therein lies the flaw in how sanctioning bodies work. You can simply "wait it out" while fighting low level opposition. They know they are mandatory so they won't risk losing the Canelo/GGG fight.

If the September fight with Canelo doesn't happen, there is a 100% chance a unification with Saunders will come about. The WBO will undoubtedly allow that. So anyone sitting in the mandatory position in the WBO will have to wait no matter what anyway.

And in the scenario that the Canelo fight in September happens, and Canelo is the winner - there is virtually no chance he holds on to the belts. Charlo & Jacobs are murderers row for him. Tall, athletic, big, strong, smart, agile, long boxer punchers will absolutely do a number on the shorter, slower Canelo.

Think I read he was being a pain in the ass in negotiations with Deravyanchenko, theyd agreed on $400k each, then he wanted $200k more, HBO weren't willing to pay. Whilst that what was going on Jacobs and Sulecki got made as a final eliminator.

The boxing structure is crazy. Various sanctioning bodies won't properly rate fighters from different organizations, some promotors won't talk to each other, manditories get ranked for no apparent reasons and HBO and other broadcasters are restrictive as to who they have fighting. Too many sanctioning bodies with multiple champions in each division. Lax drug enforcement that depends primarily on the drawing power of fighters. Can anyone say Cluster ***..
