The 160 landscape is a mess.

This right here.Honestly 160 has been a mess for years, it was thrown out of whack when Cotto beat Martinez and then never even defended the belt at the full weight. You had Golovkin beating everyone else while Cotto didn't want to know, so you had this bizarre situation where Golovkin had all but 1 of the belts but Cotto was the lineal champ. Then Alvarez beat Cotto and carried on doing more or less the same thing up until last year which leads us up to what we have now. Until the rematch delivers a conclusive result this mess is going to stay the same.Comment

lol nah you guys flipping standards when it comes to GGG.your solutions were
1. Go back to one belt
2. Require sanctioning bodies to mandate fights against other sanctioning body mandatory's
Both of those solutions are unrealistic. Boxing is never going back to one belt and you know this. Sanctioning bodies don't work that way and you also know that. You're proposing radical unrealistic solutions just to benefit GGG. You want to flip the boxing world upside down just for GGG.
I always heard that mandos were pointless, now, all of sudden, what the IBF says is Gospel

Bruh. The guy just said we should go back to one belt just to protect GGG from facing his mandatory. One belt is not close to reality therefore he's showing howv extreme his solution is just to protect GGG.
My solution
GGG should fight his mandatory
His solution
The sanctioning bodies should come together and make one belt so that GGG only has to fight one mandatory
Which solution is rooted in reality?Comment

I'm not protecting him, I mean, Derev wasn't beating GGG imo and Vanes is a sht fight agreed, but I can understand that they want to get a bit of money on cinco de mayo, they were probably losing money facing Derev, YOU PERFECTLY know Vanes is packing the stub.Bruh. They have to cover the expenses, sparring partners,
they are not getting club fighters to prepare for Nelo, I mean, I'm still mad at Nelo not GGG.Comment

The same thing they did is what GGG is doing problem was they had a real reason for doing it while GGG doesn't.
Martinez was a crippled old man who needed a payday and Cotto came calling.
Cotto was a Welterweight who needed to win belts in multiple classes and saw a sitting duck in Martinez.
Fat JMW Canelo saw a sitting duck in Cotto.
GGG is simply chasing Canelo not Saunders, he has no interest in that. If he did he would have snatched that belt or atleast hope to get it in September not wait for non belt holder Canelo who is currently suspended.
GGG doesn't have to fight all his mando, he just have to fight some.Last edited by mvooom; 04-22-2018, 02:58 PM.Comment

I agree with you except on GGG not having reason to do the same, and that reason is named Canelo, and that Canelo guy messed up things. The same thing they did is what GGG is doing problem was they had a real reason for doing it while GGG doesn't.
