Here is what Lou DiBella said when he was approached by Golovkin's camp about fighting Golovkin.

By the way I have never accused Martinez the fighter of ducking Golovkin. They were at different points in their career. Martinez was looking to secure his fianancial future and he earned the luxury of being selective. His management however sure didn't want any part of Gennady.

Looks like the plan from GB is a September fight. Hell, GB needs that $$$ since they don’t have any other top fighters. As ive been saying, GGG’s team is doing the ONLY a thing that makes a lick of sense.
