I don't think they need any counter offer, I think Breazeale accepted Wilder fight already.

The fight will be signed this year. I have been saying that for the last 7-8 months and it looks like I will be proven correct. I thought it would be signed this year and scheduled for next but it appears it will likely to happening this year after all.

This time next year the Joshua-Wilder discussions will be about who ducked who still after the fight happens and if (when) Joshua wins Wilder's fans will mostly be gone.
beczuse wilders fans are not reallly clued up on boxing and they are so desperate for deontay wilder to grow in to a great heavyweight fighter they lose all rationality and common sense even if all the evidence proves that there man is the one creating roadblocks......wilder will get knocked out by joshua

Not so. In fact you can check exactly what Hearn said here:

The relevant part is here: https://********/LKq3g7cBvps?t=210

He's not saying they don't want the fight.

I'm certain that this time next year the fight will be done and dusted and people will still cry over who didn't want it and all kinds of garbage. Joshua may (probably will) get the W and what's left of Wilder's fan base will still be like "He didn't want it though. They had to force him"..
I favor Wilder if the fight happens in 2018. Too athletic for Joshua who hasn't developed enough defensive chops to deal with a guy like Wilder.

One thing is for sure, if/when this fight does happen, there will be a lot of sour g****s. If Joshua get's KO'd I think the UK fans may disappear like a lot of Pacquiao fans did.

I know Haymon and Finkel are serious operators but I don't think they can realistically compete on this occasion. Hearn is arguing from a position of strength. Joshua has now sold out 3 stadium nights here in the UK and done well on UK PPV. The domestic market has a lower ceiling than the US but there's simply no prior record from Wilder to justify the sort of money they'd have to guarantee AJ to get his signature and without that they have no product.

Hearn has the figures and as near a guarantee as possible as long as the fight is in the UK. The variable is how much US PPV interest may be drummed up on a fight taking place in the UK at an inopportune time for the US market.
Haymon has been at the center of the two biggest fight deals in boxing history. He even orchestrated a deal for PBC to come alive. He can compete.

Think about this...how can you say you haven't heard from someone whom you have a planned sit down with? If you haven't talked to them, how did you plan the sit down? Hearn has had a tendency to say contradicting things just to stir the pot. This occasion is no different.

Eddie Hearn gave Wilders team 10 days to respond and make a counter offer. So why are you bit ching and moaning?
