canelo has had only 1 fight at 160 and that was the top dog.. but now he is already ducking the entire division?? for his age already has prime names like lara, trout that he really didnt need to fight, but he fought them , others never do the high risk low reward fights unless needed.. by the way all those you mantion in your post, are reclutant to make high risk low reward fights, they should be held to the same standards..

For his age, names just two fights. One of which he should of not got the decision lmao

Canelo fought both Trout and Lara when he didn't have to. At all. Those are the kind of high risk-low reward fights that literally everyone else avoids. Canelo took both of them. He has fought Trout, Floyd, Lara, Cotto and g. And he is only 27. g is 35 and has fought Jacobs and Canelo. And no one else.

I hate Canelo as much as the next guy, without a doubt, and he probably is overrated, but you cannot see he doesn't take challenges. That is the one reason people should be rooting for Canelo. He would fight and beat the 12 pro fights Derevyanchenko, and then he would fight one of the bigger names at 160. Honestly, any fight between any two of Canelo, G, Jacobs, Charlo and Andrade are going to be close. BSJ might even be up there. And Canelo has fought more challenges than all the others combined. He is a cheat, a ginger, tries to make his own weight class and over-rated. Those are all true. But he has taken fights, that 99% of boxers in his situation would have refused.

Trout, Lara, Floyd, Cotto, and g.

Plus, Kirkland, Angulo, Cintron and JCC. Decent guys.

Oh, yea, for his age, HE IS 27. In contrast, g has fought Jacobs and Canelo. HE IS 35.

Please name three fighters who have fought better opposition. Yea, and he is only 27. And already has more big fights than g, Jacobs, Andrade, BSJ, and Charlo have had COMBINED.

If Canelo's resume make you laugh, then you are not a boxing fan. Because why would you watch, when even the guys with the best resumes are so weak? g has been in two big fights, and he is 35. And many thought he lost BOTH of those fights.

they're starting to turn on him already. this is why i respect true mexican fans. they're not biased.

co worker is a big time canelo fan, he's also mexican. he's disappointed at what happen with canelo. says canelo had it all for him, was promoted the right way, was at the top and was just about to get the official stamp of approval as an ATG if he beat ggg in may.

but since he got caught and pulled out, even if he beat ggg in the future, it wont mean as much since there will always be a question mark over him.

For a guy that's supposedly hated so much he sure has a lot of power. His absence means we get no fight on May 5th for the first time in a decade. If GGG was the one to drop out Canelo would STILL headline Vegas no problem.

And look at how team GGG is reluctant to make any moves until they know the ruling from NSAC because Golovkin's whole career revolves around Canelo. He's chasing him around sniffin his ass for a payday when the mofo doesn't even have a belt! GGG's entire "all the belts" campaign was fraudulent and we all see him for what he is. A mofo no different than any other fighter he insulted by labeling them "businessman". Clown.

Canelo's willingness to face top comp should never be questioned honestly. The guy single handedly picked Lara against the advice of his entire promotional company. That right there is worthy of respect. Canelo did not have to face Lara ever. He could've easily brushed him aside as a non attraction (like Golovkin did) and people would've understood that. But he himself made that fight happen. Oscar did not want him to face Lara.

Canelo is currently very very good. Will he be very very good off the juice or just very good or just good or just a better than average welter?

                    will be interesting to see.
