At this point i think he’s already lost a lot of credibility among boxing fans

Probably won’t effect his casual fan base though they’ve stuck with him after a Mayweather shutout , what should have been loses against Lara / Golovkin , making up his own weight class to pick and choose opponents and down right atrocious opponents where the opponent had no shot ( Hatton, Josesito, Kirkland , Khan, Smith ) and still support him

I doubt they’ll abandon ship after this latest controversy dies down.

I think Canelo is a good fighter. I think GGG beat him and will beat him again. Jacobs vs Canelo is an even fight to me. I'd favor Canelo to beat Saunders who has been fighting guys GGG already knocked out. I think he beats Jermall who barely beat Trout and Andrade who barely beat Vanes by split decision and got knocked down in that fight. I know Canelo is the bad guy now and you are supposed to trash him and say he never was that good. Sorry but I think he is a very good fighter with an iron jaw and he has never been knocked down. He has fast powerful accurate combos to the head and body. He has the punching power to knock guys out cold with one punch, left or right to head or body.

Nah bro its your opinion just like the opening post was mine
But he only has those punches and combos when the guys going towards him. All those dudes are box ginger. Canelo cant cut off the ring at all not to mention his bad stamina. I think jacobs and bjs would create a mayweather-canelo reenactment against him. The others is kind of a toss up imo bur i think they still beat him

After stopping Golovkin, he'll simply set the targets on building toward the next superfight, the showdown with Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez.

Arum's not going to negotiate honestly, and Alvarez will likely want to see Ramirez grow his profile, so don't expect that fight all that soon.

With no real care for the actual world titles, Alvarez may choose the tough fight against Saunders, but the more likely scenario is that David Lemieux gets the fight May 2019 (with Lemieux's next fight being against a no-hoper, it would not shock me to see string together a couple more easy wins to make it seem like momentum is building)
