Not like there is many options.
since the very second Billy-Joe Saunders stated that he would be available to fight Golovkin in June, there has only been one fight to make
that fight was just sitting there..... they had a window of opportunity AND they had a willing participant..... but unbelievably, Team Bullshht dropped the ball..... AGAIN !!
just like they did with EVERY other opponent who was expected to be a threat
I cannot believe fans still think that is just a coincidence
if not Saunders in June, then they should obviously move heaven and earth to take care of that pesky IBF mando now, to ensure that September is free for either his payday Canelo, or his WBO "dream" Saunders..... especially with Charlo also coming due
but yea, it appears that Team ***wit have dropped the ball on that fight as well..... AGAIN..... ONCE MORE..... COINCIDENTALLY
I give up, this is utterly fkn ridiculous..... no adult with half-a-clue should be supporting that rubbish
Golovkin will have to fight Derev in order to keep the IBF strap..... and he will fight Canelo as soon as he is available..... which means that Saunders will have to wait another 18 months LMAO
1) they do not appear to be interested in Saunders at all
2) they are avoiding Derevyanchenko
3) Golovkin is FIXATED with fighting a scrub in May
those three factors lead me to believe that Golovkin will..... 1) select the easiest no-hoper possible, to break Hopkins record..... 2) cash out with Canelo..... and then 3) retire
otherwise..... why would they INTENTIONALLY create a log-jam in September..... they know that fighting a scrub now will kill a much better fight down the road
Golovkin already has one foot out the door imho..... he aint gonna fight those lions, he has never been about that life, otherwise at least one of the fights I mentioned in the post above would have happened..... but NONE of them did
and if Golovkin already has one foot out the door, he will lose to Canelo anyway

FACT: Golovkin could have fought Cotto AND Canelo..... and he could have done it LONG before now
Cotto had one simple request, a request that was no problem for any other middleweight
Golovkin inexplicably refused to negotiate on weight with Cotto, removing himself from consideration in the process..... (and Golovkin was WELL-AWARE that refusing a catchweight would kill that fight, so stop making silly excuses for the ******)..... then Mr "anyone from 154-168" publicly stated that he is willing and able to fight at 154, but nobody will step up LOOOOL
oh, and he happily offered Gabe Rosado a catchweight
and Canelo was sitting there at 155, Golovkin would likely have gotten that fight (and Cotto) at 157..... just like Geale did
oh, and then Golovkin refused an 8-figure offer to fight Canelo LOL
GTFOH with that worn-out garbage
oh..... and Golovkin had done nothing to step ahead of Martinez's money fight with Cotto, and he still hasn't..... even today Cotto would get that fight before Golovkin

I think you are really looking at this illogically in terms of timelines. There isn't another champion in any division that's going to take a fight against a guy like Derevyechenko on three weeks notice...not a single one. i'm sorry I know this guy is held to ridiculous standards of "do what I want you to do" and if you don't "I told ya'll so." Sergiy is not an easy fight for anyone at 160. He wants a tune up because he's screwed on short notice, I think it's pretty fair to let him have one if he's targeting canelo and bjs for the fall..either one are fights we actually want to see, one for vengeance and one for unification. It's not like he won't ever get the fight, they just feel they'd like a full camp for any opponent and that's a pretty fair thing to request as champion and at his age. He didn't create this situation he's just forced to deal with it. At this point, just give Sergiy a million get saunders as soon as you can and unify. Then fight all the mando's back to back..i can live with that because those are all credible opponents.
bullshht, he had a full camp
those are just the latest in a LOOOOONG line of silly excuses
Golovkin is a veteran pro, a supposed killer, and supposedly the man at 160..... and Derev is an unproven mid-level contender with 10 fights under his belt
how utterly ridiculous

Same guys who defended him tooth and nail and found every "medical result" on food in mexico somehow. Ignore the agendas bruh, seriously. You'll enjoy the site more if you do. If these guys had their way Golovkin would be be fighting a mac truck at full speed with a mile of building up speed and that would be a fair defense of his titles.
it is a straight up duck, no question
they selected Munguia, Spike, and then Vanes LOOOOL

Thank you. I did not know. Could you site the exact dictation via articles/websites that show this? Would love to read.Originally posted by aboutfkntime View Posthe selected Munguia, Spike, and then Vanes
those opponents were HIS decision
he either..... suggested the opponent, or he signed off on the opponent..... or both
the fact he signed off on 3x utter no-hopers tells the WHOLE story
Golovkin is well-aware that he has been receiving criticism for YEARS because of his average resume and poor opponent selection..... he knows 100%
despite the fact that he is aware of that criticism..... and despite the fact that MUCH BETTER fighters have thrown their hat in the ring..... Golovkin selected Munguia, Spike, and then Vanes
no point in blaming anyone else
