No he isn't. When he turned down the second offer for the Andrade fight because it was for 150k less than the original offer he showed he wouldn't take a fight for whatever was offered just because it was an opportunity. He showed he cares about the cash as well. Which I don't have a problem with. I especially don't have a problem with him not settling for less money when he doesn't have to do anything more to ensure he eventually gets a title shot.

He's not going to fight for free, but you're a fool if you don't think that Derevyanchenko and his camp didn't here the rumors of Munguia being offer $700k for the fight.

You look down the slate of the last 5 or 6 fights that Golovkin had on regular HBO and none of those guys fought for $250k, and I doubt Vanes is fighting for $250k either.

Well this is the first I've ever heard of him being offered 700k. But that's neither here nor there. It didn't matter. HBO's budget doesn't care about rumors. They were only offering 1 million for the fight. If Sergei D wanted 700k then GGG would only get 300k. That isn't a reasonable split.

That isn't to say that Sergei D taking 95k would be reasonable either. It isn't. But there just wasn't enough money on the table for a fight between the two to work out for May 5th.

Isnt Andrade and GGG both promoted by Arum so why not these two?

Im curious when this Charlo / Centeno fight was signed, especially since Charlo was GGG's mandatory...anyway seems like some step aside could have been paid ?
