We still get to watch a fight, just not a competitive one.
Pros- Canelo exposed! Even Mayweather knew Canelo was doping prior to their fight in 2013. Mayweather showed him what an international superstar looks like.

Nice try. The complete quote is, "It's unlkely but, both fighters could expose Golovkin before the big blockbuster event."
Unlikely means improbable, doubtful, far-fetched, etc.
Just a bit of a difference. when you leave out a couple of words.

The writer of the article very anti GGG. The champion not a household name he is very well known in the world of boxing and all that is important and to get a credible opponent is the only problem regardless of where the fight is it will be sold out...

Career wise, GGG had had some really bad luck. Between the supposed draw and this fiasco with failed drug tests, Canelo and GBP have wasted nearly a year of his last few years. I know it's a huge payday, but I believe it may be time to move on from Canelo.

I don't blame GGG for Canelo's failed drug test, but I don't think he should keep the IBF belt hostage until 2019. If Derevyanchenko doesn't get the fight in May 5th (which is a DUCK) he would have to wait until GGG fights both Canelo and possibly a unification with Saunders! That's not cool! SO go ahead and fight Vanes on May 5th, but drop the IBF belt, and let Derevyanchenko eat too!

This is all Canelo’s fault. I hope the best for GGG

the inability to find a worthy opponent to fill in on short notice.

"However, neither fighter is a name that could boost sales on short notice and both could be considered “too dangerous” for a fight that is simply supposed to serve as a “keep busy” fight"

"As good as Andrade has been..... rendered him as too good to fight for a lot of the best fighters"

"Derevyanchenko is also undefeated and the mandatory ..... both fighters could expose Golovkin in advance of the big blockbuster fight"

"He also can’t take on one of the better fighters in the division because neither have are a draw but are dangerous in the grand scheme of things."

I don't get any of that stuff.....

Golovkin is supposed to be the man at 160..... and yet he is attempting to make his mandatory Derevyanchenko wait for another year, and make Saunders wait for another 18 months..... which is beyond ridiculous

how absurd..... when it came to Ward, Golovkin fans used to say that if you were not willing to fight IMMEDIATELY, then you were chicken LOL..... my how times have changed

why is it unthinkable for the supposed man at 160 to fight mid-level contenders?..... especially if one of those guys happens to be his mandatory..... Canelo is not a belt-holder, that fight is irrelevant in "the grand scheme of things"..... why should fight fans care about Golovkin's money, he just made 15mil

the guy is supposed to be this feared killer, and he will have a full camp under his belt by May 5th..... and yet, he cannot fight a mid-level contender because it would be too "risky"?

when has he ever taken a risk ?

can he beat those mid-level/unproven guys, or what ?..... that is the only question that will come from Golovkin fighting yet another tomato-can in May

                      for the record.....

Team Bullshht said GGG would fight " anyone from 154-168 "

and they said that nobody at 160 goes 12 with Golovkin

but now, they are saying that mid-level contenders are "too risky"

someone has been writing cheques with his mouth, that he cannot cash with his fists, for a long time lol
Great post man. All Facts. Green K.
