Do you think Sanchez, as GGG's trainer and close confidant, has nothing to do with opponent selection? Loeffler suggests the opponent, Sanchez and GGG evaluate and make the final decision. Sanchez is responsible in that sense.

What does Canelo have that GGG needs so badly other than money? Nothing, IMO. So this thing is partially a consequence of greed and dishonesty (saying one thing-not being a businessman and wanting the undisputed championship and doing the opposite-chasing Canelo all these years). It's also the consequence of an entitlement mentality. Nobody owes GGG and team anything.

I thought you said he wouldn't fight Andrade.

To be frank, neither Andrade nor Derevyanchenko is my first choice. I'm sold on neither yet. But, given the other mentioned opponents, they are an upgrade.

I'm also no longer a Canelo fan, or a GGG hater. All I wanna see is competitive bouts.

Even if the guy in my avatar doesn't fight Lomachenko this year or May next year the latest, I'm going to call him a duck, unless there are reasons beyond his control, like Arum and Floyd fucking things up.

            I'm a boxing fan, not a fanboy.

And it wasn't "short notice" they knew since March 5th the fight being cancelled was a possibility. GGG's phony outrage made it a certainty.

Is a 6 month ban really a punishment for a guy who fights in September anyway? Lol.. So why is it that Loeffler seems to be hoping that's the case. They don't want Canelo suspended for 1-2 years which proves my point, all their outrage and meltdowns were phony.
Your opponent is cheating... I doubt the rage was fake.
Incase you didn't know allow me to tell you, he has already got enough cash to retire from boxing for good.

If you want the truth Canelo owes Golovkin a lot of money by not being able to fulfill his contract. If he gets sued by K2 he will have to pay. It's not going to happen if Golovkin fights in May. So if he was as greedy and cowardly as you like to think he wouldn't fight in May.

I’m curious I’m not around these parts as much as I used to be but I’m wondering are hbo fan boys still making excuses for them? The reality of why ggg can’t find a fight is hbo is unwilling to pay for any legit opponent they have to find an opponent who will fight for peanuts and be approved.

We have all known this for years already but there’s a reason all hbo good fights are ppv or if not they are mismatches mandatories or like a triple header of action fighters that they don’t have pay very much. I’m just tired of writers and fans a like making excuses for hbo when the reality is fights don’t get made on that network outside of ppv because they aren’t willing to spend $ period

I agree totally with you, and said that not long ago.

Find me a post where I call GGG a coward. People can duck for different reasons, it really isn't always about fear. Also, almost all fighters are accused of ducking including former super elites like the Pacman and Floyd, for various reasons.

There are guys that are willing to fight GGG on short notice but his team thinks they are "too dangerous."

You can't blame that on Canelo.
